middle names

so when i did our budget air booking it said to only iclude the first name , it gave a male and female example that showed only entering the first name in the first name box but now on the confirmation it says names must be exactly as shown on passport have i done it wrong ??

Ive flown several times with name different from passport. My name is sarah^jayne but i just book everything in sarah and never had a problem

As long as the christian name and surname are the same as the passport you will have no problems. I have flown many times with just using them.

As stated it is just the way it appears on the passport, however no middle names are required. However, if you do put in a middle name it will simply join the two together. I have a double barrel name and so I enter my full name but it joins the two together without a hyphen (looks weird!). They won't reject it, but it is not necessary to do so.

If your name is Anna Marie for example and you enter your middle name it shows it on your booking and boarding pass as Annamarie. I just assumed the guideline is to simplify things for those with several middle names

however when i log in to view our klm booking it has me in there for some reason as mrs rather than miss

I have an incredibly long name and I've never put my middle names, simply because they don't fit!

Never had any problems

Don't worry about that - your passport does not have a title in it so it's not gong to be an issue. I am divorced and have some of my stuff as Mrs and some as Ms - never makes a difference unless I'm logging into a bank account online

phew thats a relief i thought i had done it wrong as i was soooo excited to be actuall booking !!! im going to double check all names and date of births in booking now !!
