Ive been thinking about a trip in mid to late January. (Jan. 10-30)The average rainfall is about 2 inches and its not crowded at all (according to Birnbaums 2004). Can somebody that has just recently been to WDW tell me about the temperature, crowds, rain, and any other deciding factors? Thanks in advance!

We went this past January (22-26) and loved it!!! The parks were empty and the weather was ok. It was a little colder than I had hoped but the smaller crowds made up for it. I think we did the entire MK in about 6 hours. No lines!!! When we went to MGM, we walked right on RnR and ToT.

I highly recommend this time if you can do it!!!

DH and I went Jan 26-30th. First day was about 80 degrees then the rest of the week it was 50-60 degrees. Sprinkled on the last day but nothing to worry about. Parks weren't empty but not crowded either. Somewhere in between I guess. LOL. Rides had about 5 minute waits if that. We rode splash mountain 2 times in a row without getting out of the log. We had a great time and would definately go again in January.

we went the beginning of January and weather was beautiful everyday but one. Everyday we could swim and wear shorts comfortably but that one day we were cold with hats, sweaters, and mittens - but that was the coldest day of the year in New England so we were still happy. Crowds were pretty good as far as I could tell. We didn't have too many long lines and only used fast past twice the whole trip.

I go the first week of Jan every year and every year the weather varies. It has been warm, 80's and i went once we had to buy gloves and huddle together at parades. The weather channel predicted it great so keep an eye out on that. It never rained but the possibility is always there. Crowds are nothing, peak season ends on Jan 1st. Hence why I go on the 2nd. Longest line is Test Track, usually 30 min or more. Many of the FL rides have waits about 30min or more although most have Fast Pass. You will definatly get spoiled though having such small crowds. Still plan on getting parade seats early though.

I went in January once (a while ago). The crowds were quite small and the weather was extremely nice. It was wonderful

We've gone in Jan. twice and have loved it. The weather was great, with highs in the low 70's sometimes a bit cooler, blue skys and sunshine. We did notice that the Floridians were bundled up with gloves, hats and scarfs, but we thought the weather was perfect. Being from a city where you have a "real" winter gives you a different perspective on how cold it actually gets :)

Aside from the weather the crowds were extremely low. We waited for hardly anything. It was great! I'd go again in Jan. in a heartbeat!

We went Jan 14 - Jan 21. It was cold most mornings and evenings, but we were there a few years back for the same dates and it was 80 everyday. Weather can be tricky.

Crowds are low - but know that Martin Luther King's birthday does up the crowds slightly. We didn't really notice it too much except the Tuesday after at MK, and even that wasn't too bad.
