Mid Size SUV

I have a rental with Alamo for a midsize SUV. We usually bring 3 suitcases, 2 small strollers and 2 carryons. We will also have two booster seats for the kids. Will this car class accommodate us ok? I don't mind being a bit cramped getting to the hotel. And the strollers we have fold very compactly and could be laid on the floor in front of the back seats. Should I upgrade to a full size SUV? Would Alamo honor an upgrade coupon presented when we get there? There was no way for me to add an additional coupon to my existing ressie.

Sorry to hijack your thread - but I had another mid-sized for Alamo question. It will be just Dh and I so we don't need the back seats. Will an ECV that is broken down fit in the back of a mid sized?

I'd say yes. I got a gas grill in back of my saturn VUE. If nothing else seats do lay down.

I personally drive a Honda CR-V, which I think is classified as a small SUV, and I wouldn't have a problem with that amount of stuff, unless you're talking about "normal" sized suitcases. If it's any help, my cargo compartment is 33" front to back and about 42" side to side.
