Mid Sept weather warnings!!!

tropical storm Fabian will be near the east coast at this time. weather forcasters don't know if it will hit florida or go more north at this point. They said things like "data for this one is the most ominous storm so far this year and could be a major disaster!" They expect by the 2nd week of Sept. Hope for the best!!

Yikes! Do you see when we're leaving? That was one of the worries of booking this time of year. You just never know....... I guess I'll be watching the weather channel more closely!

It looks like fabian will be turning toward the north. Hope the projected path is accurate. Have a wonderful trip.

I hope Florida avoids this one... I hope we all do for that matter! DH & I will be getting there on 9/13 and while we were hoping for an exciting trip, that's not what we had in mind! I guess I'll be watching the weather too!

As it looks this morning, it doesn't appear that it is expected by any models to hit central Florida.

I live in south Florida, and our news usually focuses a lot on the tropics at this time of year...but this morning, the weatherlady hardly mentioned Fabian. She just said it's expected to head west for a few more days and then turn to the north-northeast. They LOVE to get us all freaked out about the next deadly storm headed our way, so I'm guessing that her nonchallant attitude means they're fairly confident it's gonna turn away.

(I can hope anyway....we're due to be at the World from 9/7-9/13, and a storm coming to Florida would not only mean it would ruin our WDW trip, but we'd have to come home to prepare the house...UGH!)
