Have chance to take family down to Dis mid-to late sept. 2004 and wondering about everything at that time of year......anything special I should know? Park crowds, weather, events, etc.............

We were just at WDW this past September. The weather is hot, but the crowds are not bad (except on the weekends). If you are a DVC member, this is a month that the points are the lowest. I would guess the resorts have a lower cash price too.

We went to Disney Quest for the very first time during our last trip in September and my girls didn't have to wait long for anything! I had made PS for a couple of meals, but didn't really need them because it wasn't crowded (except for Cinderella's Breakfast, that one I did need).

BTW, the Disney Cruise Line is lower priced in September. We did 4 days at WDW and 3 nights on the Disney Cruise. It was a GREAT trip!

You will enjoy it!

We were at WDW Sept. 17-27th. It was quite hot while we were there, the cm's we talked to said seasonal temperatures were higher than normal. We did prefer Jan. to visit WDW now we are planning to go back in Sept., crowds are just as low and opportunity to swim is better.

We were there September of last year and it was so hot! It's hurricaine season too, so it was really humid and rained every day for at least 20 minutes. The rain was bearable, the heat was too much for me. I swore after last year, I wouldn't go again except during the winter.

We were there Sept 13-21 this year. It was very hot and there is always the chance of hurricanes. We did not have to wait in lines very much at all!! With a few exceptions, we just hopped right on the rides!! Be aware that some things will be down for rehab. And did I say it was HOT?

crowds very light -- weather can vary from hot and sunny to coolish and rainy or hurricanes. I love September the most.

We went last year at the end of Sept. Went to MK on a Friday. No lines at all and they were showing spectro that night. I walked right on to Space Mtn, absolutely no line. Weather was very hot to me but not bad to my husband and we live in Florida so we're used to hot weather. This year we went at the beginning of Sept., after Labor Day. During the week, there were no lines and you didn't need PS to go to restaurants like Chef Mickey's. My dd was able to ride Dumbo and teacups several times without getting back in line and many of the rides like Pirates and Small World had empty boats. Epcot was deserted until time for Illuminations. MK was busy on Saturday though and my dd and dh had to wait in line for about 20 minutes for Dumbo. It was hot but didn't seem as bad as last year. Great for swimming.
