Mid-October: FOTL passes necessary?

We are going to US/IOA for 2 days sometime between Oct.16 and 21 for the first time. Unless some great rates open up at a Universal resort, we will be staying at Disney. During this time of the year, are FOTL passes necessary?

Would appreciate any and all advice!!!!

FOTL passes are never necessary, just sweet!!!

You should be fine. Just get there early and use the machines...same as Disney.
