Has anyone been in mid Novermber? I did some research and it seems like a great time to go. Weather for the last 3 or 4 years has right around 75-80 (perfection to this Michigander) and crowds seem doable. I'd really like to hear from people who have been at this time, though. We're thinking about the 11-21th, the week before Thanksgiving week.

Crowds? Weather? Any comments?????

:goodvibes This will be a great month to go in. The weather is great and crowds are somewhat low. We go every year in Nov and have always enjoyed it. I think this year Jersey week is the second week in Nov and the crowds will be a little busier.

We usually go the first week in Nov, it seems to be the best. Have fun and enjoy maybe I will see you there. :thumbsup2

What is Jersey Week? How can I find out when this is? Will it make that big of a difference crowd wise?

Thanks for the heads up. It does seem like a great time to go... Jersey week or not :goodvibes

We were at WDW during Jersey Week (around Nov 10 or so) this past year. The weather was terrific. Mid 80's and sunny every day. The crowds really weren't too bad, altho the parks did fill up in the afternoons. We were very diligent about getting to the Parks when they opened and followed TGM plans so our wait times were very short.

Jersey Week refers to a 3 day break schools have in NJ for a teachers convention. With school out hordes of folk from NJ trek to WDW for a short holiday. It is busy but not like summer or Christmas crowds. We would go again at this time of the year.

Future Jersey weeks

We've gone twice during the week that included Veteran's day. In 2003 were were at WDW from 11-7 to 11-15 (Vet's Day was a Tuesday) and in 2005 from 11-4 to 11-12 (Vet's Day was the Friday).

The crowds in 2003 were light. They started out light in 2005 but got busier as the three day weekend approached. The increased seemed more related to locals than folks from Jersey. Still, even at the end of the week the crowds weren't too bad.

The weather both years was mostly sunny (no rain at all in 2005) with temps in the high 70's and low 80's.

The dates Nov 11-21 should be a fine week to go. Disney World will be rather busy (but not impossible so) when you first arrive, but it will clear out probably on Monday Nov 13th. Have a great time! :) :)

I think I am sold. Now I have to sell my dh :scared: :crazy2:  : He's not quite the Disney addict I am.

Thanks for the great responses. November sounds perfect to me. If we can't go this year, I'm going next year for SURE!

We love going in November too. The Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is a MUST DO also. Jersey week is no big deal.

Hi Family Fun Mom, we have a lot in common. I'm a fellow suburban Detroiter, plus I already have reservations for that week! We are going to US/IOA for the 11th and 12th, and then to WDW the 13th-18th.

We have gone at that time before and it's very nice. Great weather and the crowds aren't overwhelming or annoying at all.

We're going Nov 9th to the 16th because we got free flights for those dates. I didn't actually realize it was Veterans Day weekend when I did it. Now I see it's also Jersey week and I'm getting a little nervous. :(

We've gone twice during the Veteran's Day week and had a great time both times. My experience is that the crowds are very low despite the holiday and the Jersey week. Veteran's Day, although a holiday is not one where most people get a day off from work.

The weather is usually great during mid-November as well. Relax! You'll have a great vacation.
