I haven’t been to Disney since my teens were little. it’s been 12 years. i am SO excited to be going in a couple of months. we just booked. we will be there march 20-26. Did we pick a decent week crowd wise we didn’t have too many options of which week to pick but i knew we had to stay away from week before and after easter. i also know crowds are limited these days. But is this normally a busy week? also What should we expect for weather? thanks SOOOO much i’m very excited to begin planning. we just booked last night.

The weather channel website can show you average temps. It’s really hard to estimate crowds in the current pandemic-era, so I wouldn’t worry too much and just be excited to go. My advice is not to try to plan too much and just go with the flow.

Thank you! yes trying not to worry too much and thanks for the weather channel advice i’ll keep an eye on it when we get closer.

I'm planning to be there early March (6th-10th) and checked the Spring Break calendars, but who knows this year. We were there in September and had a blast - even without park-hopping and FP+ which I rather preferred to be honest, we had a great time and did everything we wanted. Don't forget to slow down, enjoy, and take it all in! Good luck with the planning and have fun!

I really don't think anyone can accurately predict crowds in normal times, now with Covid, it's anyone's guess. I don't think people will be traveling the way they did prior to Covid in March so even if schools have normal spring breaks, I still think most will be staying local and many still aren't willing to fly. I think March will be busier than their normal non holiday times but I still think it will be more locals and more people who drive in from neighboring states. Weather is usually pretty pleasant in March, warm during the days but not hot and pretty cool in the evenings. You may have a rogue colder or hotter day but that's not the norm. Just check your forecast before you leave.

we are also going that same week with our just turned 13 DD. The last time we went was a similar week about 5 years ago. It was definitely hot, but NOT August hot. But I'm used to humidity in heat in the South. and it will rain a little each day.
all those years ago it was very crowded, but I was also glad this particular week is not right before or after Easter. I am guessing it will be as crowded as capacity allows in COVID era. Which will be MUCH less than the old spring break days. That makes me nervous. But then again, I am choosing to go to Disney in a pandemic so I have to go with it :)

We usually go the second week of March. That is the beginning of spring break season and is usually busy. This year we went right before the shutdown and it was the busiest we have seen it that week but who know what that means next year.

The weather can be up and down. Most days are warm but nights can get cool and there is usually one or two afternoons that are cold too.

haha right. same here. i said we made the plans we’re doing it. enjoy!!

March, especially mid to late March is usually very warm...at least it has been in the past several years, so very enjoyable. I'm not sure what you can expect with the pandemic but i'm sure you will enjoy your time.

Predicting crowds at most times is a crapshoot. However, you know (at least for now) all parks are capped at 35 percent capacity. This may be your best indicator. If you have been "confined" more than normal as most have been, I think you will have a great time no matter.

We are going that week too! I an hoping the weather isn't too hot as my family doesn't handle the heat too well (tho I love it). This will be our 3rd trip, (May 19, Jan 20) and I actually looking forward to later park openings and having less of a schedule to keep with the lack of Fps.

We are going the week before and have gone in March fairly regularly due to spring break. You’re the second half of March so it should be warm, though weather can be unpredictable. One year we assumed it was going to be warm and we ended up needing to buy sweatshirts. Check the weather about a week before. Crowds during COVID? Eh. whatever Disney designates as capacity then...

It's hard to predict exactly how crowds and wait times will play out. Sure it will be busy, it's a matter of just how busy? Hard to say more than ever.

What is easier to predict is which days during your trip will be the most pleasant crowd wise. Tues and Wed are usually the lowest crowds of the week, followed by Mon & Thurs. I'd make sure to take full advantage of that mid-week lull in planning. The parks that you find most important to experience with low crowds, stick them in the Tues & Wed spots.

I had to cancel last spring break and immediately scheduled this year’s spring break. Hardest thing for us to figure out is ADRs. Some restaurants and transportation systems aren’t available like they used to be. Park hopping for dining is questionable.

We usually go that week, as it's always the week that our Ohio school district does spring break. As others have said, the weather can be hot but not nearly as humid as summer. We think it's one of the best times to go weather-wise.

It's usually a packed spring-break week, but as others have mentioned, that's hard to predict this year. I think you can have a great trip however the crowds are. I know we always do.

It’s not only that it’s the uncertainty at least for us of whether the infection’s back has been broken by the vaccination efforts, people observing safe behaviors, etc. we are booked for late March and alarmed at Florida’s high infection rates, indeed most of the country’s, re trying to go. Advice please.

We are really missing it, but right now Florida's Covid numbers and compliance with masking and crowds are so much worse than ours. We are looking forward to March/April but will watch to see what happens in the next month.
