We are planned to go the week of April 16th. I'm now questioning moving it to the last week of May first week of June. We will be flying to another state that week for a graduation and could combine trips and cut a flight down. Saves us around $500. I know it will be hot but we have only done August hot I haven't been in June since I was a child. Was looking forward to April being cooler but isnt April hot too? Thoughts?

As a former Floridian: mid-April is warm (80s) and humidity starts creeping back up.

Late May/June is hot (90s) and more humid (6/1 is the start of hurricane season so expect more rain too).

Average highs in April are 84 vs. 88 in May and 91 in June, and late May / June starts getting humid too vs. April. After mid May I personally avoid Orlando or if I am there I stay in the water and A/C.

Everyone has a different tolerances for heat and humidity. If it were me changing a trip from April to late May / June I would change plans from theme parks to water parks too. But I am one who doesn't have a high tolerance or love of heat and humidity.

Certainly more likely to be warmer in late May/early June but April can get its warm days as well. I think if saving the money is important (that's a good amount of money) I'd move the trip. I think most kids are still in school at either time of the year unless schools in southern states get out mid-May like I used to as a kid.

I'm going that week in April (trip starts on the 13th). I've been at different times in April and May and June. I prefer April, while it is warm there have been nights and early mornings I've had to wear long sleeves or a sweater. I live in Georgia so it's not really hot to me until it hits mid to high 90s, over that and it's hot no matter the temperature. I've found it rains less in April, the monsoon on Easter Sunday last year comes to mind as an exception. If you avoid spring break and the holiday it is a tad less crowded. MAY starts inching toward hot and muggy. June is hot, not fifth level of the sun like August but hot and it rains. It starts getting more crowded as schools let out. Since the trying times, I've seen more kids in the parks even during the year, I'm assuming some people who started home schooling just kept it up. Personally, if I saved a considerable amount of money, I'm talking at least over $500, I'd go when it was less and just plan for heat and rain. We used to go end of August because it was just before school started.

I went last week of April, and I think it felt hotter than it was because it hadn't warmed up yet in NH. Going from 50ish degree weather to 85ish degrees shocked my system so much more than I was expecting.

My neighbors went late May/early June last year and had a blast, but by then we had warmed up closer to Florida weather.

It will most certainly be warmer in June. We go over spring break and last year's break landed April 15-19, the days we were at the park were perfect, low 80s, not very humid but prior to and right after it was about 90 and not as low of humidity. April is warm but not near the humidity of June and depending on where you're from, could feel like summer. We also had a few rouge coolish days in April too so it can vary but by end of May/early June, there's no more really rogue weather days, it's just summer. We mostly wore hoodies until mid morning in April but in June, you don't need a hoodie for early mornings/evenings. You may also have a little more chance of afternoon rain in June but we've found that's not as much of an issue as July-September.

We also go right after memorial day since our kids get out right before the holiday and crowds are not bad. By mid June they do creep up. You still may have lingering spring breakers in April but after Easter and that following week, they should dissipate so I'd venture to guess your April crowds might be a tad lower. I think it comes down to your priorities of cost saves, weather and what works best for you. If I could pick from the dates you gave me, I'd pick April over early June.

We are going the week after memorial day too if we choose that week! I hate to push it out fron April but it would save some money. We did August and I'm hoping that week won't be as hot and I figured some schools will still be in session
