has anyone travelled with a baby under 6 months who isnt breastfeeding??? i am taking my 5 week old to disney with family in two weeks time and have no idea how i am going to sterilise everything and stuff? im takin ready made cartons for ease but any advise would be much appreicated - we will be staying at disney hotel so not sure what facilities they have - also anyone tell me exactley whats in the baby room things at disney?

Hi

I can't help you with what's in the baby rooms I'm afraid but if travelling by car could you take a steam sterilizer with you? You could then carry steralized empty bottles for the cartons of ready prepared milk whilst in the park and when in the hotel room make up feeds as you need them.

I haven't got children but have heard that people can buy sterilising tablets for when travelling. It may help to look into that?

Boots sell them in packs of 64 for £1 odd. Just use them with cold water

The baby facility beside plaza gardens definitely has a microwave in it. When DS was 5 mths we brought sterilizing tablets that you could use in cold water & we brought a travel kettle that we used at night to sterilize the bottles (just by rinsing out in boiling water).

I used the sterilising tablets (when my boys were young it was the only option available) and bought a large tupperware type container as a steriliser. you can use it to carry some of the cartons of milk in while travelling.
I did the same thing with DD when we went on holiday as well rather than take the microwave steriliser.

I think you can buy travel sterilising bags as well but arent sure what they are like
