I would like to have an idea of how much we would pay to have a microwave in our room and if this price changes depending on which resort we would stay.

I've never heard of you being able to pay to get a microwave in your room at Disney. The only rooms I know for sure that have them are the DVC villas. I believe that most resorts have microwaves in the food court.

I seem to recall several years ago our room in the contemporary had a microwave, but that's the only regular room (not DVC) I recall ever seeing one in. BTw it was just a regular bay view room the tower. Nothing special.

Looking at the amenities listed for each category of room at the Contemporary, the only accommodations with a microwave are the 1 and 2 bedrooms MKV suites and the Presidential suite. (prices around $1,500, $2,000, and $ OMG per night). No regular rooms have microwaves.

The family suites at AoA also have microwaves.

I am really considering stay in a family suite at AoA next time because of this. With a young kid and in the winter it is good to have this facility early in the morning or at night. Thanks everybody.

For the past 3 years we have gotten a microwave in our room at the Wilderness Lodge. Two of those years, yes, were club level, but one was not. We simply asked for it. It was delivered before our luggage was by house keeping. No extra charge for the microwave. I did however explain my son had dietary needs and that was what it was for.

Only the Deluxe resorts have a limited amount of microwaves for guest use in their rooms. Not values or mods.

Not true, I got one at CSR. Not sure if the other mods have them as well. You can request a microwave at check in only. They are on a first come, first serve basis. They can not be reserved in advance. Housekeeping will deliver one to your room if they have any available.

They have them in the All Star Family Suites too. And those are usually quite a bit cheaper than the AoA suites, if that is a consideration.
