Microwave at POR

Do any of the mods have microwaves? If not what are the options?

Microwaves are available in the food court at POR, not in the rooms. None of the mod resorts have microwaves in the rooms.

You don't say what you want to use the microwave for (heating bottles/heating small meals/etc.), so I can't advise you on other options. You might want to check this thread from the past week http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1786984

We always want to bring our own microwave popcorn for an afternoon snack...will they let you use the microwaves to pop your own popcorn? I know they sell the micro popcorn at the food court, but it's not the brand we like.

I need to warm up milk at night for bedtime. Perhaps a popcorn would be nice also as a snack.

You can use the microwaves in the food court for whatever purpose you have in mind, including making popcorn. No one monitors what brand of microwave popcorn you use, so a brand you bring from home will be fine.

There have been other posts on this board about warming bottles in rooms that do not have microwaves. I have to admit that I tuned out that part because my children are now adults. But when they were babies I had a portable bottle warmer that plugged into any electrical outlet so I didn't need to be concerned if a kitchen was available or not.

I just posted there also. A person posted that they had asked for a micro for the room and got it. I have a SN child and something so simple as warm milk at night gets hard when away from home. Yet, we must have it or the meltdown begins.
