Microsoft cuts XBox 360 Prices by $100!!

Bottom line:

XBox 360 "Arcade" (Green Box) is still $199.99

XBox 360 "Pro" (White Box) is still $299.99 but will be phased-out

XBox 360 "Elite" (Silver Box) has been reduced to $299.99 to better compete with the recently-discounted PS3 and, of course, Wii.

Argh! I Love our xbox 360- but I don't love the red rings- or red line that we've gotten on the "Elite" version. The fix they said they made on the system- isn't really a fix.

But they are fantastic about fixing it and getting it back within 2 weeks.

That's a great price on the Elite!

PS3s were cut by $100 too (or so DH tells me). Thank god we already have an xbox360 and i told DH no to the ps3 no matte how "cheap" it is.

Oh but the ps3 is sweet! Little big planet is a great game. And it's BLUE RAY! Sounds like a holiday gift to me!

We just got the xbox 360 at Christmas, and the boys love playing xBox live with their football games. If I broke down and bought another one for our basement, can they both play on Live at the same time? They have their own accounts. (We are hooked up for wireless, and I know they can't play each other).
