Mickeystoontown's Cheers to 40 years! 18 days, 10 park days, 2 parties and a lot of fun! Updated 6/10x3

I’m still here and enjoying your report! Your Pecos Bill lunch looked yummy 😋
Thanks for letting me know that you're still around. I was beginning to wonder if I had lost everybody. :teeth: We have always liked Pecos Bill's and, while I wish that they still had the huge fixin's bad, it continues to be one of our favorite counter service at Magic Kingdom.

Happy Monday Y'all!

We spent the weekend working our tails off on our water well beside the Chatham House and working in the garden. I'm working on organizing more pictures so give me a bit to get that done and I'll post another update or two.

What'd y'all do this weekend?
I am still here. It was just a busy weekend and a busy start to the week at work. Sunday we took a trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan for the night. It is a cool German Christmas town. Bronners is a huge Christmas store that took us over two hours to get through and I don't think we saw everything.

Your day at MK sounds awesome and very low crowds.

I love Frankenmuth and Bronners!! We had a very busy weekend, also. My 3 grandsons had 8 baseball games between them! We try and make as many as possible!

We only live 3-4 hours away and never heard of it before DH's boss mentioned it to him a few weeks ago. So we did a spontaneous trip. We kind of feel like we have lived under a rock though. Everyone that we talk to heard about this place long before we ever new about it. We only stayed a night but we really liked it and are going to take the kids in October (18 and 19 years old) because we think they would like it too.

Joined in late but caught up now. Have been enjoying your report. I have been away from the Dis for a while but have come back recently. I am hoping to plan a trip soon. I was originally hoping for this spring but We just moved to a new house and we are still getting organized. I worked this past weekend. 3 16 hour shifts in a row. Whew!

Those Dole Whip floats looked delicious! I am not a fan of the new Pecos Bills. It used to be my go to place (maybe that was pre-covid??) but now it is a skip for me. Boy do I miss those toppings bars at Bills and Cosmic Rays. Ahh...the good old days.

VBS this week meant I was too exhausted each day to even look at the Dis. Today is catch up day. I have no idea what I did last weekend, lol. Oh wait, yes I do. I was dog sitting for older son and his family.

While I was at VBS, my younger son was creating my new bedroom. The house really went downhill in the years my husband was ill. Since I'm getting my mom's bedroom set, I decided my room was the place to begin my own refurbishment. New carpet comes this coming week. Over the past week, my son fixed all the holes and dents, replaced outlets, and painted everything in my room and in the hallway. New baseboard heaters installed too. It looks so pretty now! I can't wait to get the furniture in there. I bought the Disney Beautyrest mattress for my new-to-me bed. I also took mom's pretty flowered chair, I hope it fits in my room. (My sister got dad's bedroom set and the dining room furniture.)

Still here too! Funny I didn't get an email that you posted an update....I'm not lurking on the boards like I used to.... Love the updates and can't wait for the next installment!

I'm still here and now caught up. I fell off the Dis after we got back from our May trip.

I'm really enjoying your report. We stayed at CBR in January and have a new love and respect for it. I tried to book for May but discount was just not working.

I am loving your report ❤️. We also love CBR. I have nothing but good memories there!

As an aside, you use phrases like "egads" and that makes me feel happy. My grandmother passed away in 2019, and she was 96. She used those types of phrases, and reading them here made my heart swell with happy emotions. I hope that doesn't come off wrong!!! :rainbow:

Love reading your trip reports! Our next vacation in September is a huge split stay. We have DVC but still love the value/moderates just for the memories. We are starting our next venture at CBR and cannot wait!

LOVE these low crowds, was it a Christmas party day?

Did John get the “ I lava you” float? One time I requested the “I lava you” float and the cast member responded with “ I lava you too”. It was so cute!
