Is there any way of staying in the park if you're already there or do you have to leave and come back in when the party starts at 7:00???

My understanding is that you can stay in the park straight through to the party. I think that you pick up wrist bands in the park.

Sounds good to me -- where do I pick up my wristband?? Can I do that anytime throughout the day or only later in the day??

They'll start handing them out around 4:00p in various locations.

Where is the family photo taken? Sounds to me like that's what can take the most time & I'd like to get it out of the way ASAP so that we can enjoy the remainder of the evening.

LY there were 3 places thai I know about for the photo,

Hall of Presidents, IASW and Alien Adventures.

I'm sure that most of these locations will change this year though

Do not and I repeat DO NOT get your photo first - the lines are long and you will wait forever - if you are in the park, go over to tomorrow land and go into the theater that is past Buzz Light Year. The show there is FABULOUS and hard to get a seat later on. It is the best show there. Each year later on in the night, the people are practically begging you to get your photo taken. You can even get it taken several times at different booths!

You can get your pictures taken during the first parade - no lines - the second parade is less crowded.

I never miss MVMCP - it is the BEST -

I went to MNSSHP and I was disappointed - it is nothing like the Christmas party - it is so magical - and beautiful.

The show in front of the castle is delightful also - see that after the Night Before Christmas Show in the theater.

Have a wonderful time. I will be there too - just taking in those wonderful snow bubbles!

I agree don't get your picture done first. It was packed at the Hall of Presidents when we first got there. We went back during the first parade. We didn't wait at all. We walked right in and had our picture done. We went to the second parade which was not as packed either. My niece and nephew fell asleep but the christmas parade was shown last December again during the day on Friday after MVMCP so we took them to that parade.

I noticed that there are several special shows listed on the MVMCP itinerary. Are any of these shows the same as the shows that are staged during regular MK hours?
