Mickey's Very Merry Christmas

We are going to WDW November 3-10. Back in 2008 we went a few days later than that and were able to be there when they decorated for Christmas and the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade. We are hoping we can do the same this time around. Does anyone know when they usually announce the dates for that?

Lots of people are waiting on dates right now. Last year they announced MVMCP and MNSSHP at the same time, toward the end of March, with tickets going on sale the 1st of May. So far nothing, but people are pretty sure they are starting MNSSHP later in September than last year. So don't make any assumptions about MVMCP party dates until you see firm dates! (Some folks booked air fare for early Sept expecting to catch MNSSHP and are pretty disappointed now...)

2nd this...Last year MVMCP started Nov 1oth....However...I would NOT PLAN for it to be then simply because MNSSHP cut dates this year.I will tell you that going in early November, you will see some decor..But not all of it, and nothing is GUARANTEED to be completed till Thanksgiving weekend.Last year OSborne lights started Nov 10th, but the year before it started after thanksgiving.
