We will be there Decenber 18-22. Last year was our first visit during the holidays and we missed this event. However, we did go to the Candlelight Processional Concert. It was great!

What exactly is the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? It looks like we will be there for it this time. I'm wondering if it is worth the extra expense. Also do DVC or Premium Annual Passholders get a discount?
Thanks

For us, it's worth it. At 7:00pm, they allow all pre-ticketed guests to join the festival. Goofy is Santa and on Main Street, they have snow falling from the sky. In segregated areas, free hot cocoa and cookies are served. All the BIG rides are operational and there's a parade, as well.

We enjoy it.

As for AP discounts, I believe your stay missed it. It's offered until December 13th. Please check this with WDW.

All I can say is that it is magical!! It is wonderful. I go in December just to go to MVMCP. It is definately worth the extra money. They have special Christmas shows, most of the rides are open, you get a free picture for each member of your family, they have free hot chocolate and cookies, it snows and the characters are dressed in their Christmas best. Even my stingy husband who won't spend extra money on the Candlelight Processional package or character meals or nice restaurants at WDW, will spend the money to go to MVMCP. Debby
