My family and I are going to Disney World the first week in December and I wanted to know what everyone thought of MVMCP? Is it worth it? What speacials things go on? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :grouphug:

So worth it. Park not very crowded, great parade and last time I went they gave out Free cookies and hot chocolate.

Was there alot of character interaction? Last year we went to MNSVSHP and absolutely loved it. My daughter came back saying she got to trick or treat in Disney World. I just want the trip to be special for her.

It will be special for her. It's a fun night at the party. She can have her picture taken with Santa and the characters and they give out hot cocoa and cookies all over the park. It snows on Main Street during the parade also.

Characters are in designates spots. You get a different map of MK that tells you where the characters are, what rides are open and were the free cookies and hot cocoa are. The parade is great and it does snow on Main Street as mentioned.

Also have been there during MNSSHP and Loved it.

DD4 and DD2 love it as do we.............also we keep them up late and last year we got to "sleep in" a little later the next morning :goodvibes

If you go to youtube & search for Mickey's Christmas Party, you'll find some great videos! We're going in Dec 2010 & I can't wait to do MVMCP! It looks so fun & festive!

My family and my sisters family went together in 2006 and did the Christmas Party. I t is fun, and there are very few people int the park, mostly because you have to pourchase tickets which they sell a limited amount of. There is free hot chocolate etc., but sometimes hard to find, and hard to get(lines). The parade is excellent and the firewoks display is excellent.
I think the "Not so Scarry Halloween" is better. Give it a try, we are all going again this October(2009), I went in 2007, it was great, especilly if you have young kids. Everyone gets dressed up and goes tirck or treating in the MK! Does it get any better? The parade is great too, a lot of dark halloween type floats, etc.

Gotta Love Disney!

We also did The Halloween Party in 2007. I have to admit that that's a hard party to top. My only regret is not doing it a second night on the same trip. So much to see and do.

We'll being doing the Christmas Party in Dec this year. I would love lighter crowds. MNSSHP was packed.

My wife & I did the EPCOT "Backstage magic" tour and MNSSHP on the same day in Sept. 2007; it was the first day for the party and while in the costume shop we saw them working on Tigger's pirate costume and then saw him wearing it that night! It was one of several trip highlights especially since we both love T I double Guh Err!!! :goodvibes

DO IT!

It's awesome.

I felt as if I had the park to myself when I went last year. Every ride was under a five minute wait (usually you just walked right up and got inside the ride), cool lovely night, free cookies and hot chocolate, characters in their christmas outfits are scattered around like Belle & Beast.

Fun parade too!

It's worth the money! :)

we have gone to mvmcp for the last 3 years now. xmas time is absolutely the best time of year to go to the world.....
