Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Lets Talk Characters!

Does Santa stay until midnight? I'm thinking of going to see him on our way out. We really aren't "character people" and go for the short lines, parade, and fireworks. However, we want to see Santa.

I would expect lines for Santa to be shortest at the end of the evening as 1. Many younger children will be gone for the night and 2. His location at the front of the park means many will see him as they enter. If it were me, I'd plan to do the dwarfs first as they will draw a crowd all night. Good luck!!

thanks expect tons of pictures when I come back :flower3:

So apparently Santa doesn't meet guests in the day until after Christmas...bummer so I have to plan a new strategy. I'm still hoping for: Mickey :mickeymo: Minnie :minniemo: Donald & Scrooge :donald: Goofy :goofy: Santa :santa: Dwarfs :grouphug: To me it still seems doable just expect lines for both...

I'm not sure about this year but I KNOW Santa did last year. I stood in line during the day with my kids to meet him. He was wonderful!

Santa is NOT showing in MDX on MK's character listing for today....which would indicate to me that he will not be out prior to the start of party? Though that may change the closer we get to Christmas? Or once MVMCP is over for the season?

Which do you think will have the longer initial line: Seven Dwarfs or Jack Skellington?

Tough call....Jack is new, but the Dwarfs probably have more of a "broader appeal"? I expect both lines to be pretty long, just like they were during MNSSHP. However, Jack being back in SC may actually help, since he will be more "tucked away" (at Halloween he was right at the entrance to the park). Still probably best to get in line for one pre-party and the other at the end of the night....but if I had to choose, dwarfs' line would be my guess for the longer of the 2.

Do you think six or 6:15 PM is early enough to get in Jack's line?

5:30 would be better so that you're in the initial wave of guests to meet him and you'll miss less of the Party.

If you are going tonight you might he able to get away with that, as Jack was only announced in the last few days, and there's a chance some folks already in town attending tonight's party may not have heard the news yet. Everyone is expecting the dwarfs, as they gave been at historical parties, so would expect their line to build first. After tonight, however, plan to be in either Jack's line or the dwarfs' line around 5:30 to save valuable party time. I'll be interested to hear reports after tonight how bad his line gets. We were in line at 5:30 during MNSSHP and were far from the first in line!

I can't wait for the reports to start rolling in. MVMCP is pretty much my last thing to plan for our upcoming trip!

My daughter and I waited 3 hours last year at MNSSHP to see Jack and Sally!! I would like to see him in his Santa suit, but I'm not going to waste 3 hours of park time to do that. I will hope that he has a short line by the end of the night and shoot for that.

My girls are interested in meeting Rapunzel and Flynn. What is the best time to get in line? How long does their line typically take?

Also, are the other princesses and princes in the same area? I think we would also like to try to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming.

TIA :)

I am not sure about the lines since this is our first mvmcp but I know cinderella/prince are in the same line as Rapunzel/Flynn. You wait once and meet both sets one after the other.

How long have the waits been for Anna and Elsa I guess I'll knock them off before the party starts

Flynn is awesome! I'm not sure how long the wait will be. Flynn and Rapunzel will be with Cinderella and Prince Charming.

Snow and her prince should be outside near the mine train.

Ariel will not have her prince and meet in her grotto

Aurora and her prince will be outside too.

I'm sure KTP will post where exactly Snow and Aurora are tonight.
