Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Lets Talk Characters!

Anyone know what time they've been cutting off the Cinderella/Charming, Rapunzel/Flynn queue during the party?

On Thursdays party I looked at around 11:15 and the line was still open with a posted wait of 60
minutes. I checked back at 11:50 and the line was closed.

I'm upset Mickey isn't meeting in any kind of Holiday attire, that's a real bummer.

So it looks like this is a master list of everyone who's there:

  • Sandy Claws aka Jack Skellington
  • Santa Clause
  • The Seven Dwarfs
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Daisy Donald and Scrooge
  • Santa Goofy
  • Aurora and Phillip
  • Tiana and Prince Naveen
  • Cinderella and Prince Charming
  • Ariel
  • Snow White and The Prince
  • Elsa and Anna
  • Mary Poppins, Bert and the Pengin
  • Merida
  • Tinkerbell
  • Rapunzel & Flynn Rider
  • Wendy and Peter Pan
  • Abu, Jasmine, Aladdin & Genie
  • Mickey Mouse

no genie?

Genie rotates through with Jasmine. Abu is with Aladdin.

Also missing from that PP "Master List:"

Ariel
Captain Jack Sparrow
The Pooh Unit

Hi, We are going to MVMCP dec 4th. My number one priority is sandy claws (my sons favorite). Ive read he starts meeting at 615. What time would be good to get in line? Would 5 be early enough? Thanks!

We got in line between 5 and 515 for Jack during MNSSHP (at a sold-out party). He came out around 615 and we were through his line before 7. Timing was perfect. There were perhaps a dozen groups ahead of us when we got in line....though I'm not sure it was widely known he was meeting early at that point. But you should be fine getting in line at 5, and will probably be through the line before the party actually starts.

I was at Thursday's party and here is what I was able to get done:
-Lined up for dwarfs at 5:20, was second group in line. They came out at 7 and was done by 7:05
-Went over to Storybook Circus, Ducks line was already decently long. Met Minnie first, took about 10 minutes. Then waited for the Ducks, this took about an hour, a little longer than I hoped/expected. They took I think 2 breaks during that hour.
-Stopped at Cosmic Rays for some cookies/cocoa, saw the dance party going on
-Went to Main Street- stopped in Emporium for party merchandise, they had plenty available. Saw part of the first parade from a few rows backs
-Was at Mary Poppins line right around 9, was maybe 3 groups back and they came out as soon as parade was over. Kenny the pirate says they meet near Chapeau but this night they were next to TST in the little alcove near the exit
-Was a little after 9:15 and Celebrate the Magic had started, moved down Main Street and was able to get a nice spot for fireworks
-When they were over ran over to Santa's line which was surprisingly short, maybe 20 mins
-Found a front row spot for parade near flag pole
-After parade checked out the rapunzel and Cindy line but was still 60 mins (Aurora and snow still meeting but line was already closed)
-Passed the tea cups and the Tweedles were out meeting next to Chesire Cafe!! Waited a few mins and was able to meet them
-Headed to the castle and caught the end of the Christmas show
-Around 11:50 checked out the princess line again and it was closed. Ran back to storybook circus, Minnie and goofy were still meeting guests but lines were closed, same for Sandy Claws

And that was my night! Hope any of that info helps! Was a great party, the snow on Main Street is magical :)

Yes it was pretty unexpected!! Perhaps it was because I went immediately after the parade, maybe people were still stuck in other parts of the park.

Thanks for your AWESOME trip reports! I'm gonna grab him after the first parade now too...how was he did he look like the real deal no one has posted pictures of his meet and greet.

The Santa we met was very traditional in appearance. We didn't get any pics with our own camera or phone, I will post a pic as soon as I finish editing our MM pics and download them. Unfortunately the editing site is SO SLOW and it must have kicked me off a dozen times yesterday. :crazy2:

Definitely looked like the real deal! Have no photos to post yet, all on MM and haven't downloaded them yet. And there's a CM handing out mini candy canes when you're done, very cute.

I've read this whole thread, but I don't remember this question being addressed (I may have missed it) --

How long was the line for Anna and Elsa?

We are going to the 12/14 party. It is my daughter's 4th birthday, and we have a 3:50 BBB reservation and a 6:45 seating at CRT (though we would have preferred earlier, we were lucky to get that time, thanks to a member of the boards). We will concentrate on the characters, parade, and fireworks. It would be great to be able to get a picture of her with the princes and princesses, especially Anna and Elsa. We are thinking about adding the 12/16 party, too, but it will take extra expense and a difficult rearrangement of our schedule.

Jack showed up at 6:15 tonight. I got in line just before 6 and it was already long. I'm guessing about 1 hour long. Maybe more.
