Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Lets Talk Characters!

Sugar cookies (or maybe they were supposed to be snickerdoodles). Both my husband and I preferred our son's packaged gluten free cookies, so that's saying something! It is probably not normal how bummed I was over those cookies ... I think Disney could have done a much better job there. On the plus side, the places where they were giving them out were really efficient. Even when it was crowded we barely waited.

Thanks Kelly! Sorry about those bummer cookies if you wanna share your photos of the christmas party I love looking at pitures!

My family was bummed about the cookies also, they were just not very good. I also overheard other guest comments and they did not seem popular overall. :crazy2:

We did the Christmas party in 2012 and the cookies were pretty bad then too

I didn't quite care for the cookies. When we went I asked for apple slices and got a package that had expired a good week ago so I'm a bit turned off from their offerings.

is anyone reporting whether the characters are meeting earlier than 7 or are they all comping out at 7pm?

I watched Mousesteps YouTube review of the party and they said they heard Jack was supposed to start meeting people around 6:15. That's the only source I've heard mention that though.

Beginning at the 2nd MVMCP, Jack began meeting at 6:15 - similar to how his M&G was run at MNSSHP. The early start is in place due to his long lines during the 1st party... guests were waiting up to two hours to meet him.

Does anyone know how long lines have been lately for the Winnie the Pooh characters and "Santa" Goofy? We are going next Thursday.

Does Elsa light up the castle twice on night every night? Or just 2 times on party night? We have an 8:00 dessert party reservation on a non party night and I'm trying to figure out if they will do it that night at 8 as well...

"A Frozen Holiday Wish" - castle lighting ceremony-Elsa encasing the Castle in ice will be twice a night.

-6:15 PM and 7:30 PM (non party nights)
-6:15 PM and 8:00 PM (party nights)

Just wanted to give you a heads up - You can catch the Castle Lighting before your reservation. The lighting ceremony will take place before your dessert party reservation if it is a non-party night.

The line for the Pooh Characters is always long and is often cut before they even arrive. We have always arrived 15 minutes before their set and usually waited 30+ minutes.

Currently I've only heard of Jack coming out earlier than 7pm. He is coming out from 6:15pm and you must have a party wristband to meet him.

Anyone know what time they've been cutting off the Cinderella/Charming, Rapunzel/Flynn queue during the party?
