Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Lets Talk Characters!

Not exactly character related, but since everyone on this thread has been so helpful: I might be rearranging my party plans again because I want my DS to see the parade and he'll most likely fall asleep before the second one. Is there anywhere or even any chance I might be able to grab a spot for the first parade about a half hour before? That's pretty much his limit for waiting. Thanks!

Literally just joined the forum to let everyone know that it's possible to do meet every party exclusive character plus more in one party. I was at this evening's MVMCP (12/14) and it was sold out. I had been planning for a bit and thought this was going to put a wrench in how much I was able to do, but I was able to do more than even my best case scenario plan allotted for. Got to the park at 4 and did the following:

Space Mountain with FP+
Tiana/Naveen
Mine Train with FP+

Immediately after I went to the Dwarf line and from there this is everything I accomplished in the party time:
7 Dwarfs
Snow White/Prince and Aurora/Philip
Stopped for cookies and hot chocolate at Liberty Tree Tavern
Peter Pan/Wendy
Jack Sparrow
Once Upon a Christmas Parade
Aladdin/Abu
Rode Pirates of the Caribbean
Saw the fireworks while walking from Adventureland to Storybook Circus. Caught the finale in Fantasyland behind the castle.
Donald/Daisy/Scrooge
Pooh/Tigger/Eeyore/Piglet
Rapunzel/Flynn and Cinderella/Charming
Jack Skellington
Caught the very end of the 11:30 Castle Show
Mary Poppins/Bert/Penguin

This was my first MVMCP, but lines for characters seemed abnormally short from what I've been researching. I didn't think I'd get nearly this much done, but I hope this gives anyone else going to one of the last two parties confidence in how much you can get done even if the party is sold out.

We were also at last night's MVMCP. The only characters the kids wanted to meet were Rapunzel/Flynn Prince Charming/Cinderella, and the 7 Dwarfs. We were able to accomplish both--the princes/princesses at the beginning of the party and the 7 Dwarfs during the first parade. We waited about 45 minutes for the Dwarfs, which was acceptable to me...got lots of great pictures.

The princes/princesses were a different story. I got in line before the line officially opened, at about 6:35...they let us start filling the queue about 5 minutes later. I was close to the front...maybe 20ish families back? Based on MNSSHP experience, I figured we'd be out by 7:15. Well, after letting the first couple groups into the room, the line just stopped. on both our side and for A&E. We wondered what was up, when a management type came out, apologized for the delay, and announced that there was a "security situation" with A&E and that they'd get the line moving ASAP. We saw several uniformed police officers at the front, but didn't see them take anyone out, though I'm sure they were escorted out of the park if the police were involved. We ended up making it through the line and back out by 7:30, but we managed to find a decent place to watch what remained of Celebrate the Season, and also got a decent spot where the kids could see a Frozen Holiday Wish.

We were talking to some other people in line for the 7 Dwarfs, and they said that a couple of days ago, they were actually in the room with A&E when a M&G went wrong and watched those guests get escorted out. They said in that case, it was teenagers who wanted Elsa to pose provocatively and she said no, they threw a fit, and ended up kicked out, so threw an even bigger fit once they were out of PFH, and last they saw, the teenagers seemed to be being escorted from the park.

I just don't understand people's idiocy sometimes.

Oh my, we were in that line too last night and saw all that happen. Never could figure out what happened though. Anyways we were done by 7:28 with Rapunzel/Flynn and Cinderella/PC so you must have been right behind us!

Thanks so much for your impressions sounds like you had a wonderful time!

Thanks to everyone who made this thread and my experience one I will always remember

Thank you every one. I am already getting my list ready for this year. We are actually thinking of doing more days, no dinning plan (just pay oop unless its free at the times we want to go) and do two Party nights, one with the desert party for fw.

This was a good read for the past 4 hours.

Many thanks to all on this thread, it was a great way to plan and celebrate a little each day! We had an amazing time at the party and got to do everything we wanted! Here is me, my DS, and some of our friends after Celebrate the Season.

In your MDE when you have a MVMC ticket does it show up as admission cards? my friends account is showing bands and cards so we are assuming thats what the cards are is this correct?

Yup it shows as regular admission you can pick your fast passes for that time frame too!
