Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

:Pinkbounc Hi Everyone!
We will be doing our first MVMCP this year on Dec. 11th. I can hardly wait!! I have visted the parks well over 20 times, but we have never done any of the parties. We have PS for Crystal Palace @ 5pm that day. Do you think we will have a problem getting into the park with just a party ticket? I also keep hearing about wristbands. Where will we get one if we are already in the park? Thanks in advance for your help. I'm new to posting here although DH and myself have been lurkers for over a year!

You can get into MK at 4pm with only a party ticket.

Well looks like despite the projections for crowds on Fridays we'll be going with Dec 9....if we're going to do MVMCP thats just the only time it fits and I figure we should go at least once to see what the deal is...anyway -

Its not much the the great scheme of things but is there any particular reason I'd want to pay $3 to have tickets shipped and take the chance of losing them etc as opposed to doing will-call?....thanks.....

Greg

See ya there because I will be partying on the 9th as well... :teeth:

What day would be a better day to attend MVMCP –

the first day of arrival (11:00am) – Thurs. Dec. 1,

the middle of our trip Sunday, Dec. 4

or near the end of our trip Dec. 6 (Dec. 8 & 9 – Island of Adventure/Universal Studios)

traveling with kids ages (1, 11, 8, 18)

Which day would be best and least crowded?

Thanks Angey77! Tony's at 5:45 on Dec 20 - we'll be the three people with the cake. :wave2: if you want a slice!

Hey BlueAngel, we will be at Tony's at 5:30 on the 20th. We will be a party of 8 (3 women and 5 kids). Our kids will be the ones constantly asking, "Is it time for the party?"! See ya'll there!

We have LTT for Tuesday, December 13th. Two of them. One for a table of 6, one for a table of 3 (which could be a 4). They are both around 5:30pm. We decided to do Ohana, so we can walk down Main Street first! PM me and we can arrange a time for me to cancel and you to try to pick it up.

I would vote for Dec. 6. It's a Tues., and we went on a Tues. last year. It seemed like the park was empty. Literally no wait for anything. I would not recommend your arrival day, only because you want to get a good rest in the morning of the party so you can stay out late. Sunday, not so sure of being the weekend and all. Good luck deciding! Hope it works out well.

I need your help.

I currently have tickets for Dec 15 and Dec 18 to the Christmas Party. After making all my ADR's for our 14 day trip I found out late last night that our direct flight into Orlando has been canceled (figures since I book these flights last Feb and doubled checked the times last week before making all the dining plans). I can fly on Friday, Dec 16 and arrive early afternoon.

My questions is which day should I change our MVMCP tickets to. Friday (16) or Sunday (20). I know they are both really busy days and usually sell out so I will have to act fast to exchange the tickets. Is one day any better than the other? Looking for your expert opinions and advice.

Thanks!

I am so excited, I just ordered tickets for MVMCP on 12/20, we arrive 12/18 so this it the first (and last) opportunity to attend!

Hi! Quick question...does MVMCP always start the Sunday after Thanksgiving? (thinking ahead to a future trip....) Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it does always start the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

I'm trying to decide whether to go that first Sunday or on November 29. Any suggestions from veterans on which date may be better?

???'s

Where do you get the buttons? and where is the coccoa and cookies?

Last year we only found the photo place.

Two years ago, we got our buttons at City Hall. Last year I went to City Hall and they looked at me like I had the plague when I asked about the buttons.
The cocoa and cookies, in the past they have been at Columbia Harbor House and Tomorrowland Terrace.

Question from DD: Does the hot cocoa have marshmallows? Can you get it without marshmallows? Thank you.
