Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

A question for anyone who has done this before, do you think getting a AR seating time of 5 for O'Hana will work out if we do not get to MK until about 6:45?

I got our tickets for MVMCP today for Dec. 11. Are we going to feel out of place as two adults without kids?

I hope not I am going with BF on the 9th.... :cool1:

DH and I are planning our first-ever trip to WDW during the holidays (got to use those AP's!), and want to experience this party. We'll likely be there from 11/28 - 12/2. For those experts out there, what day of the week is the best to attend this party? Are there a limit on the # of tickets available for each night? How have the crowds been - it seems like I've seen some people say it was a mob scene, and they won't do it again.

Any advice is much appreciated!

And, when do tix go on sale??
TUESDAYS are best AND as an added bonus...as an AP holder... you should get a discout price for the MVMCP on 11/29. Good Luck!

We will be cancelling LTT for 5:05 p.m. on 11/29, probably tomorrow. I also have 3 (2 adult, 1 child) for 11/29 that I'm not going to be using, is there anything I can do with them? I hate to see them go to waste, and $100 down the drain with them. DH is starting school next month and found out 2 weeks ago (trip paid for, tix bought, etc.) that he can't go.

What a bummer!

You might want to try to sell the tickets on eBay. You might get some takers. Or is there anyone you'd want to take in his place (one of the grandparents or something)?

I'd love to go, even if we took someone else, but we moved our trip to the end of this month, and finances won't allow. I hadn't really thought about ebay, that's a good idea. Thanks!

That is so cool! My dd is so excited. We just went in May, this trip in Dec. will be our 5th since last August! We went for her birthday also last year, but didn't do the party. We had dinner at O'Hana in May (my sister's rehearsal dinner the night before her wedding) and Kirstin loved it, so she has requested that for her birthday dinner. Plus, we're having my dh's Dad, 2 sisters, BiL, and neice from both Nebraska and Iowa flying down to meet us. I thought it might give his Dad a break from the park for a little while if we left (he's turning 75 in Oct.) and went back. Maybe we'll see you guys there, that's so neat that they were born on exactly the same day!!! Hope your dd has a wonderful birthday trip filled with lots of pixie dust!

We too were just there in May of this year and last Dec as well!! My dd is thrilled as last year we were there dec 2-6 and came back before her bday. We will also be there for her brothers bday which is Dec 13!! We are really looking forward to this year!

OK, it's been a LONG time since I posted, but you guys are always so helpful! I just booked a CP Dinner package for Dec 8th for the 5:00 CP with Dinner at 6:30. My question is this: will we make the tree lighting and Lights of Christmas, or will we have to go another night? I am already thinking we will need another day at Epcot to do the Christmas Storytellers, but am trying to plan everything out as I am obsessive compulsive about this stuff. :rotfl:

HELP (Thanks!)!

We got our Tickets today for Nov 27. One Mickey, One Goofy, One Donald :goodvibes Also booked CRT for dinner at 5:30 for that night. :cool1:

I would have to say plan it for another night. CP is the other side of the world from where the tree lighting is and I don't think unless you run really fast you can make it in (5:00+40-45 minute show) 15 minutes plus depending on where you are eating you will only have about 10 minutes to get there from the tree lighting with would end around 6:20.

Are those prices for the party in additon to your reg price to get into disney?

Yes, these are a separate ticket. But if you go around 4 or 5 in the afternoon you any need the special MVMCP ticket and you do not need to use a day off your park tickets. On the party day, we usually spend the morning by the pool or a character breakfast, but we save the parking until the party.

Ok I tried to read through this whole thread and made it to page 32 and gave up. ;) This is our 1st MVMCP, we are going on 12/1 and trying to figure out where to eat. Are any of the counter services open? I love Cosmic Ray's. If not then we will try and get LTT ADRs but I figure the time that we want may not be available so maybe then the castle. We would like to be done eating by around 6:45 PM.
