Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

No, they will sell you an AP ticket and you get it "Will Call" at Guest Relations and must show your AP (this is for people who do not yet have AP's). Well, we are not getting AP's, so no discount. I know I will need to pay more for the tickets. My question is should I call now, pay the difference for the "regular" tickets, and then ask them to mail them to me, or just wait until we get to Guest Relations and pay the difference there?

I already have my tickets, so my situation is a little different. They asked if I wanted my tickets mailed to me, and I said, sure. So, I have my tickets, but I paid the AP rate. I need to get the price straightened out. I think I'm going to wait until I get there, because I don't want to deal with it over the phone. For you, I think I'd call and get it straightened out. They are non-refundable, you've already paid for them. If there was some mess-up or confusion you'd want to get that straightened out before you go.

Thankyou, Nicole. I was thinking the same thing, but I'm glad that you posted first, because I wasn't sure.

Sincerely, Ray

I just ordered my tickets for 12/6. The day before my son's 7th B-Day. Then I went over to Deb's site and checked out her MVMCP pic's just as a tease. We'll be there before you know it.

We got our tickets today for Dec 8th!!! I am so excited. We too have Ar's at LTT for 5:55. Then I found out that my 10 year olds will be now charged adult prices for their meal. Does anyone know if that is for the buffets only or is it for all kids meals? I have twins!! and thought they still woould qualify for the kids prices. Also does anyone know if there is any other restuarants beside tony's or LTT open during mvmmcp?

Thanks

Susieeq

The LTT kids menu on AllEars states for guests 11 and under.
Other restaurants open:
Tony's (you can make ARs now)
CP and the Castle take ARs til 6pm (ARs at 90 days)
I think some counter service is open too... Cosmic Rays, etc

I called the ticket office today and explained the situation. I paid the difference (around $25 plus $3 for shipping). They are going to mail my MVMCP tickets to me for 12/1. Can't wait to get them! Thanks to you and Ray for the advice.

Not necessarily. We bought our tickets at the AP rate and they were mailed to us. I got them about a week after DH ordered them.

Did you already Have an AP? We didn't, and our TA and the CRO and Ticket dept all said if we didn't have the AP yet, it would have to be will call only. If you have an AP it shows in the system and they would go ahead and mail them. This applies only to people buying them without currently being Passholders.

Like I said before, I don't have an AP yet either. Planned on getting one. When I called I just told them I wanted the AP rate. She gave me the rate and asked if I wanted them mailed to me. I told her if that was possible to do I wanted them now. I got them in the mail a week later. I think mine is due to lack of knowledge on the part of the person taking my reservation.

We were active AP holders when I ordered our MVMCP tix...and my CM said that I still had to pick them up down there. She said there is no way of seeing that we have active AP's in the "system". :confused3 No biggie, I picked them up on our May trip. :)

triplefigs-hope your kiddos had a great bday! :goodvibes

Thanks! Big party is tomorrow!

We will be there 12/3 thru 12/10.

I am thinking I should do the day at MK on tues and MVMCP on thurs. and then we can go back to MK on Saturday morning for one last dose the day we leave. If I do what I am planning this is the week it is ....

Sat - dinner chef mickey's and tour monorail hotels to see decorations
sun - epcot & dinner & candlight processional
mon - AK
tues - mk day
wed - mgm afternnoon & osborne lights
thurs- pool morning & MVMCP
fri - princess breakfast at epcot stay till 1 or 2 rest and then DTD
sat- CRT breakfast or lunch & mk day till 3pm

What do you think of my plans? Is Thursday a good MVMCP night?

Has anyone used their Pal Mickey at Christmas Time? Does he get updated specifically with the holiday information (Christmas shows, parades, etc) and does he have anything to say during MVMCP?! I really want to get one on this trip, but if he isn't really configured for the holidays it won't be worth it just yet.

I'm sure this is a silly question..... I'm almost 100% sure Disney has him set (especially the new version) to be perfect all the time, but I just want to hear from someone who has ACTUALLY carried it around (or seen him in action) during this time of year.

Thanks so much!

That's not a silly question tink2020....it's a good one. I just bought the new pal mickey for my dd7 and I didn't evn think to ask this.

will be at WDW Dec 2 - Dec 12. Friend told me that sunday crowds are the smallest for MVMCP. Does any one know if this is true. If not what weekday do you recomend. Thank you in advance

In 2003, we did MVMCP twice. The first night was a Sunday and it was D E A D dead. The second night was a sold out and final night for MVMCP on a Friday.....never again....it was too crowded....more crowded than MK on an EMH morning day kind of crowded. But, I understand Tuesdays and Thursdays are the next best thing. Maggie

I wonder how it will be on this year's final night - which is on Tuesday, Dec. 20th. Any guesses? Not that we really have much choice. That's the only night we can go, and we already have our tickets. :rotfl2:
