There are no free pins that I know of.

There used to be a free button that you received upon entering the park but they did away with that last year.

WHAT?! No more free buttons? I loved those! :guilty: Any odds that they will bring them back this year?

I would read through these some 130 pages... but I have a pillow calling me right now. If someone could answer this for me, that would be wonderful!!
How busy do you all think the last day is going to be? What kind of wait times for the rides do you think I'd be lookin at (especially the mountains)?
and...
Do I have to buy seperate admission into the MK for that day?

TIA for the help!!!

Anybody, please? :wave2:

Ilovewinniethepooh -
I can't answer your questions about how busy the last day will be and such but if you are going just for the party that evening then no you won't need seperate admission into MK. You will need seperate admission if you plan on going into the MK any earlier than 4pm.

Are the pins only available on the dates they're released, or can you choose from among the ones that were released at parties prior to the one you're attending?

We will be at Disney Dec. 17-23. We are trying to decide the best day to do MVMCP either the 18th or the 20th. Any suggestions as to which may be the less crowded? :wave2:

We were there on the last day of the party last year and it was pretty crowded. We went ahead and did two nights just because i heard that it would be croded. We still had a great time. As for the collectable pins you can only get them on the night of the party because they sell out every night.

Separate admission is required. As far as the rest, I can't really say, but from browsing these threads, it seems that people that go to special events with the idea of going on a bunch of rides are generally disappointed. THe best thing to do is go to MK another day for the rides. Enjoy the parade, shows, etc. at MVMCP!

We decided this weekend to cancel our trip this December. We have tickets for MVMCP on Dec. 18th. I realize that those tickets are none refundable. I was wondering if there's anyone out there who needs tickets for this date?

I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the last 137 pages, but I didn't see it.

In the past, we have entered MK just after 4pm on a MVMCP ticket only. And we had a ressie at Crystal Palace between park closing & party opening.

My question is: If we enter park at 4pm, and we DON'T have a dinner ressie, is there a place in the park that is open (like Cosmic Rays) between park closing & party opening?

I read here that party goers will be herded into Tomorrowland -- where the rides will be open. Is there any food available there?

Trying to keep this a low cost trip.....and it's a short trip, so only time in MK will be during MVMCP, so don't want to spend time sitting & eating this time.

They are avertising the buttons this year. I saw them on the wdw web sight.
I know that the pins are popular but they have special shirts for the party as well.

In my personal opinion, I would go on the 18th. Crowds are generally lighter on Sundays and Tuesdays. Check out the post by

They are looking to get rid of some tickets for the 18th.

We went last year on the last Friday night. It was a madhouse, but not nearly as bad as a normal day as Disney.

The reason I say the 18th is because if you've never been there before, seeing Disney decorated for Christmas before you go to the party takes a little of the magic out of it. But if it is all new to you walking through for the first time is magical. Especially for the kids. Heck, I'll admit it. Last year I think I had more fun than my 5 yr old DS.

Hope this helps.

You can purchase pins released during previous MVMCPs, but these are subject to availability. Since the pins are limited edition, you may be able to find them from a few nights previous but probably not all the way back to the beginning of the parties unless you buy one of the limited edition framed sets. We've had the best luck at Exposition Hall.

I just purchased my tickets for MVMCP but she said my total was $46.00 including tax. Why does that seem expensive? I thought the tickets were only $36.00. Does anyone know the answer?
