Is the MVMCP the same attendance level as the MNSSHP?
We went to NoJ, thinking it wuld not be crowded- boy were we wrong!
I am hoping the MVMCP is a limited ticket event!

Just bought my tickets today when I made my hotel reservations. We're going Dec. 6. I actually think I was told the wrong thing. The cast member told me that the shipping was $3. I told her I wanted to do will call instead. She said you could only do that if you were ten days or fewer out. I know I've heard others say they were doing will call, but I didn't figure $3 was worth the argument.

I just ordered mine 2 weeks ago, and I was given the option of will call.

What is the attendance level of the Christmas Party, anyone know? The max that is?

I was told last year by a CM that they sell 2000 tickets to each party. I have to believe that this is a pretty accurate number since we have not had to wait for rides. Most of the time we just walked up and were fairly close to getting on the rides. The biggest crowds seem to be at the parades and fireworks.

Don't forget to wear your holiday sweater/shirt. WDW also sells nice holiday shirts and sweatshirts.

I thought it was somewhere at 20,000 tickets sold. I realize that sounds like a lot but if you think about it, low attendance in the parks is usually at 30 or 40 thousand people. With that in mind...it will be great attendance-wise. They never release the number of people they actually let in though.

2000 people would be very very low, you forgot some zeros!

Does anyone know when the shops put out the MVMCP merchandise? Last year, we arrived around 6 p.m. and the Mickey Santa hats in the Emporium were already sold out.

Hi, just subscribing as I think I need MVMCP help. This year will be our second MVMCP on Thanksgiving weekend.

We are not WDW newbies at all, have been over 30 times to the parks & resorts, but we went to the first Xmas party last year and it was a bust for us. TOOOO crowded - more crowded than Thanksgiving eve at the MK. We never had any cookies & cocoa - they just were not around many places & saw long lines for them, didn't get the picture taken - again long lines, and saw only 1 show (packed) and the late parade (which was also packed). We had 7:30 LTT dinner, and the SLOWEST, worst service we have ever had at WDW. What can I say... I love that place, but our party night last year didn't live up to expectations. We didn't even attempt rides, we were just there for the party itself.

Now I know a few things that I didn't know last year and I am more prepared - but I want more info!!!

It didn't help that Disney does not release any party info until that FIRST night. We had a child in a stroller, one visually impaired, and a teenager. It was painful dragging them thru the crowds.

Is it true that AP holders have to get their tickets at will call, because when I made my dining arrangement I told her I was an AP holder and wanted to order tickets. Well I did get the discount and she mailed me the 5 tickets for the $3 fee. Did this happen to anyone else or did I luck out so to speak.

2. If we go later to get the picture taken what is the probability that we can get l family picture and l of the 3 ds done seperately. I am reading various posts of luck and no luck. Depending on the cast member etc. I know this sounds dumb but I dont want 5 of the same pose, my ds dont have grandparents etc. so I would like it to be just special of the 3 of them etc.

3. Is the MVMCP merchandise only sold in the MK or can you get it at WOD in DTD etc. Is is just in shops like the emporium on Main Street etc. Do different shops carry different items etc. TIA

As an AP holder, I order tix online and had a choice of will call or paying to have them mailed.

A heads up...since I'm also attending MNSSHP this year, and following the info from the 1st party Friday night, I thought I'd let you all know that guests are being directed to Adventureland instead of Tomorrowland from 6-7:00 while they ready the park for the party...so it may be the same for MVMCP.

No, it was just the first place we came to as we entered the park. There were other shops that sold them in the different lands, but they were low, too.

I think becuz I ordered mine online under my AP # login, that is why I had the option of will call or not and could only choose from AP dis nites. I will pick my tix up days before the party, so no matter...
