Hi all! Lurker here.

Other than order them earlier next year, does anyone know if anyone has been lucky enough to find tickets to MVMCP after a date has been sold out and where a resourse of such may be?

I called Wed, they had tickets, got everything together to order them Thurs, they were sold out for 12/17.

Does anyone ever post around here that they have some to sell or anything like that?

TIA!

Leila

Hmmm... that's a tough one.
The best idea is to be flexible.
If you can go on the 15th do that.
If you are staying a few more days after the 17th, you can see most of the activities, incl Christmas parade and fireworks, during regular park hours.

To get advance tickets for a sold-out date, eBay is probably as good as anything. Searching for "christmas party tickets" works but doesn't get your date.

Dec 17 SOLD OUT According to WDW website. I just ordered my tickets for Dec. 2. Def glad we got the night we wanted. We had to wait to make sure we knew who all was going (mom in :D , DS15 out, too much school work:( )

HollyJoy and kaseyC, you are both quite welcome! I hope you & your families enjoy LTT as much as we did.

Can't wait till the holidays 2005 when our family will go back to Disney - first time for the Christmas festivities. Can't wait to hear your reviews when you get back!!!:hyper: I'm currently having 'Disney Withdrawal' - don't know how I'll last till next year. All I can say is "Thank heaven for The Dis", so I can get my daily Disney 'fix', LOL.

Have a Super weekend!

Parades? Does it start at 7:00pm on time? What if I am already in the park, where do I get my wristband? This is my FIRST time and I am:hyper: .

We just got bad news and are going to have to cancel our trip. We are very dissappointed because it was our 8th anniversary (we honeymooned at Wilderness Lodge) and it is our daughter's first birthday. We also had a postcard rate for $133.00 courtyard view for Wilderness Lodge. We are hoping to turn our very bad news into some good news for someone else. We have 2 adult tickets and one child ticket for MVMCP on November 30. I will give them to the first person who sends me a PM.(you are not supposed to sell tickets, but I would imagine you can give them as a gift) Please only PM me if you are sure that you will be going on November 30. It would make us all feel better if we knew another family who loved disney was getting to use them. All I ask is that if you catch a glimpse of tinkerbelle at Wishes, ask her to send the Smith Family some Pixie Dust. We really need it. Hope someone can use our tickets. I rarely post because I am not computer savvy, but I love the boards.

Dear mom4graceandlogan --

Though I do not need your tickets this time, I just wanted you to know how thoughtful you were to allow someone else to have them. I hope you do get reimbursed back for them, though.

Whatever the bad news is that is making you change your plans, you can rest assured that there are many of us out here who are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers. ::yes::

Hi,
Wow! I am astounded by such a generous offer. I had been browsing some of the postings re: MVMCP, to see if the price of the ticket would be worth it. We are taking my 7 year old daughter for a short 3 day stay to celebrate her birthday, and this would be the perfect conclusion to our stay. We already have reservations for Nov 28,29,30 for the Wilderness Lodge, so we'd definitely be there to use the tickets. Thanks for the amazing offer!
Meg

Just wanted to say that you are a real distributor of pixie dust, mom4graceandlogan. We don't need your tickets, but your spirit is very much appreciated! So sorry that you have to cancel your trip. If there's something I could do for you while at WDW (Dec 10-17) that would make not being able to go just a little easier, please let me know. Just send me a PM. ::MinnieMo

The tickets for November 30 have found a new family. WHile I don't usually post, I read them almost every other day. The forum's community spirit and kindess by the users is exactly why I wanted to give the tickets away. I knew a fellow Disney lover would appreciate and enjoy them. We were able to get our deposits back and can use our park hoppers on a future trip, so the tickets were our only expense and I am just glad someone else can use them.

Sending lots of prayers & pixie dust your way so that your bad news turns around as quickly as possible! What a beautiful gesture to think of others at a difficult time in your life! I truly hope all works out for the best. I'm sure there are many DISers who have read your post & are feeling the same way!

donaldbuzz&minnie - you also deserve commendation for offering to help out during your vacation! You're also helping to spread the pixie dust.

Thank you for helping to maintain my faith in human nature!

Best wishes to all!

Hi,
I just wanted to say that I am the very fortunate recipient of the MVMCP tickets from mom4graceandlogan. I too, am new to posting, but have enjoyed the DIS boards for info for a few years. This trip to Disney was a last minute decision, due to my husband's job situation. He works for a school, and found out mid-October that his job depended on passage of a school levy. At that time the Disney trip was put on hold. Thankfully, the levy passed, and we decided to treat our daughter to a birthday trip to Disney, to see the Christmas decorations. We were trying to decide if the expense of tickets to MVMCP would be worthwhile, especially so close to Christmas. Since I've received so many good ideas from this site, I was browsing for opinions, when I saw the post from mom4graceand logan. She has so generously offered to mail them to us, and we are going to surprise our daughter when we get there. We are going to shop for a keepsake from MVMCP for her family and send it to them. We are hoping that every year when the item is unpacked, her family will share the memory of the very generous gift they made to strangers. May that be an amazing part of their family Christmas legend, as I'm sure it will be for ours. As the previous post stated, this is truly a reminder of the generosity of the human spirit.

OH MY GOSH! I am crying. I cannot believe all of you. The DIS board readers must be the nicest group in the whole world. It's why Disney is so Magical! Thanks for making my day, week, and entire holiday season!

Let me wipe my eyes so I can ask...

Can you stay in the park if you have tickets for the Xmas party for the night? I think we did this one time for the Halloween Party. I took the baby back to the room and just met the others in the park and they told me they never had to leave.

Sorry - I found the answer!! Thanks anyway.

What a wonderful thing. Yep, DIS'ers are truly magical folk.
Mom4graceandlogan....here's hoping that things work our for you and your family. How wonderful that you added some magic for another family. I, for one, will be lifting a glass in your name at the Nov. 30 party.

Hi, I don't have time to read this whole post. I noticed that MVMCP is going on our whole vacation and sadly we don't have tickets?

Is it sold out?

Can we still go to the park during the day? If so what time do we have to leave by? We do have AP's. thanks

The only party sold out as of yet is 12/17, so you can still get tickets for other dates.

Yes you can go to the park during the day. The park closes at 6pm and reopens at 7pm for the party.

Only the last one is sold out right now. You can still get tickets.

You will have to leave MK by 6:00p if you do not buy tickets.

I don't think any of the MVMCP nights is sold out. You still can go to MK during the day. You'll just be herded out at around 6pm (when the park closes for MVMCP).

There are still nights with no MVMCP and you can still watch Spectro and Wishes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
