We have a 4:00 PS for 9 people at Liberty Tree Tavern on November 28 - I will be cancelling this in the next 15 mins or so if anyone would like to try to snag a table at that time.

I've read through this thread until my eyes are crossed. I give up. I hope someone will graciously just confirm the following for me...

1. We are arriving at around noon on 12/7. Can I purchase MVMCP tickets at the desk upon check-in for that night? Is there a chance they will be sold out - it's not a Friday or Saturday.

2. If I do get these tickets, this means that DH and I could go to the MK and actually get in the park at 4:00 p.m. Right? With no other ticket required?

3. What are the pictures like/of that you all mention?

Thank you in advance for clearing these things up for me. We've never been at Christmas time before.

Hi Cathy!

I will look for you all! What fun, huh? I am trying to figure out what to pack! I think I will splurge and try to find a cute warmer outfit there -- oh happy shopping time!

I, like you, am hoping that everyone will be on their way home so the crowd will not be as heavy when we are there. It sounds like such fun! See you there, my friend! :earsgirl:

I think you can buy them at your resort. If not, then at the MK that day. Probably won't be sold out that early in the month.

As far as we know, people have been allowed to enter the park around 4:00 with just their MVMCP tickets. Of course, Disney could change that policy. Best to check when you buy the tickets.

The photos are taken at one of several photo areas throughout the park. We had ours taken in the Hall of Presidents last Dec. It was my dd and myself. The shot is of me sitting and my dd behind me. We got two copies...one for each ticket bought. I like our photos. A nice memento of a great time.

You are going to love WDW during the holidays. It's incredibly beautiful.

Does anyone have any advice on the best spot to watch the fireworks during the party?
Also will the Carousel of Progress be open during the Thanksgiving week??

Thanks!

Count me in for MVMCP on December 17! First time in 7 years I've been in December - now my son is 16 and I wanted to do a MVMCP with him before he has a job, college, etc. Can't wait. Oh, I also got a PS for the CPalace at 4:15, so I guess we'll be among the masses in Tommorowland. The last time I attended a party, I think everybody was cleared out of the MK.

Shhh... don't tell anyone - try the Rose Garden near the Castle or the second floor of the WDWRR train station :smooth:

I looked on the Disney site earlier this evening and so far, all the dates are still available. Going back through some of last years information, someone had posted that the last Friday night party was sold out by mid-November. The other Friday's also ended up selling out.

I was wondering how in advance you have to buy tickets to get the advance ticket prices?

I called today because I had been waiting to buy our tickets. I didn't want to buy the tickets too early and not know what the weather would be like. If it was to rain, I would not go because of my 1 1/2 yr. old and try to go on another night. The CM I spoke with said you can buy your tickets up until the day before the party at the advance prices. She also said you can order them and pick them up at guest services at MK. So that is what I am going to do once I see a forecast right before we leave or when we get there on the Monday before the party.

Also, she said you can not buy them at your resort, but you could order them and pick up at guest services at MK. Hope this info helps.

I think I can answer question #2--I just emailed guest services at the WDW official site explaining we had tickets for MVMCP on the 9th and that we had a PS at LTT at 4:15-my question was "do we have to use one day of park hopper pass to get in for our supper reservations before the party? " Here is the exact reply I received today:

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

We appreciate your interest, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party guest dining from 4:00 to 7:00pm
who are not already in the park as a day guest, will need to provide their priority seating number
and event tickets at the gate to be escorted directly to the location.

If you enter the park before 4:00pm you will need to purchase a park ticket.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all
correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

******** (I removed name as I did not feel it was my right to post it on internet)

WDW Online Communications"

Hope that answers one of your questions
:teeth:

If you do have a PS for 5 pm do you think you could get in at 4 pm and for those of you who have been before where do you enter at with just the MVMCP ticket?

yeah! DD 12 and i are making the trip to mvmcp together. we have tickets for the 7th.
disneyw/kids- while i was making reservations for the all star sports resort yesterday the cm told me that if i am already in the park or if i come later, i can just show my mvmcp tickets at 4 and get my wrist band. (the same was for mnsshp- we went in at 4)

anyone else going to be there on the 7th? and we got ps's for ltt for 5:50, has anyone eaten there and can they tell me what it is like? we have never eaten there before, and thought we would give it a try. also are the characters in costume for xmas like they were for halloween?

CRO told me this is what they are to tell guests who ask about the 4 p.m. entrance - but she also said that none of them can figure out how there will be enough CM's to be escorting people to the PS location!

If you notice, what customer service really is saying is that if you try to enter the park BEFORE 4 p.m. you will need a park tkt besides MVMCP tkt.

Perfect! Thanks a bunch :)

TinkandHook, I think your family will really enjoy LTT. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy & character interaction is attentive & unhurried. We were not there during the holidays, but I've read that the characters are dressed in holiday attire. The meal is festive all year round - think Thanksgiving dinner - so I'm sure holidays would be even better. The food is served family style with unlimited refills. All 8 of our family members loved it & want to return.

You start with a wonderful salad with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing that (IMHO) was 'to die for'. Included in the meal were fresh rolls, flank steak, turkey, pork, mashed potatoes (exceptional), corn bread stuffing, gravy, mac & cheese & a vegetable (don't remember which). We ate copious amounts - just like Thanksgiving. We never had dessert, though I believe there is an apple cobbler included, because we were too full from dinner & we wanted to stake out a spot on the porch for Spectromagic.

I've never read a bad review of LTT - you should have a Great time. ENJOY!!!

Jessica,

Thanks for the review of LTT! I'm very excited to eat there on our upcoming trip! Very relieved that I picked a good place to eat! :)

Thanks for the Review of LTT. We are eating there on 12/7 before MVMCP and it is one of the few place we have not tried at MK so now I am really looking forward to it.

It is also good to know there are still tickets available. My DSIL and her family will be meeting us at WDW and I know she has not purchased her MVMCP tickets yet, I will let her know there is still a chance she could get tickets for the 7th.
