Mickey's tree lighting

Does anyone know what date this is over? Does it go until Jan. 1st or just until Christmas Day?

what is mickeys tree lighting? i know that the town square celebration is over on christmas eve.

This is in Epcot at 6:00 pm each night. We saw it last year and my DD loved it. The characters come out and they do a little show with songs.
We want to see again this year but we can't get to Epcot until after Christmas Day. We will be there until Jan. 1st, so I was wondering what the last date is for this show.

According to Steve Soares website the Christmas events are

"Celebrated from the day after Thanksgiving to December 30"

I would like to think this is incorrect as we had to change our plans and will be arriving on Jan. 1st instead of Dec. 18th which means we will miss most or all of the holiday stuff.

My DD really is heartbroken about not getting to see the tree lighting as well.

If anyone has information that's different please post it.
