This was our first time going to the Halloween party. But I got to say it was really fun. I've stayed away from the other bad reviews for this years party. I probably should find it an see what all the negative reviews were all about. I thought we got enough candy, and we got to take pictures with most of the characters we wanted. We only missed Woody an Jack Sparrow.

These are just my thoughts, I'd like to hear from other people who went to the party on Halloween.

We went for the first time last night too! My family of three got lots of candy (some good some not so good) DD6 danced and got pictures with characters. I did read comments before going, so I was a bit worried about crowds, not candy, she can always get candy. But, once we got away from the first pack (we went right, by Soarin') didn't have too much crowd problem. The only BIG line we stood in was for Minnie & Mickey, by Aladdin. I wouldn't do that again :confused3 too long a wait for DD. We would do the party again....and hopefully will next year :lovestruc I would however change the fact that we partied until 11 p.m. then ate at Millie's with a 6:55 a.m. flight :scared1: DH talked me into that one. :rolleyes1

p.s. seeing the look on my DD face when she got a bag of baby carrots was priceless :rotfl: they were handed over to Dad.

We went Halloween night as well. Got to the gates about 7:10 and I was shocked how many people were already there - I guess I should have expected that but I did not.

We originally were going to try and do some riding, but there were so many people, we decided to skip the rides (we had already been to DCA earlier in the day). We mostly just wandered around for atmosphere.

I thought it was fun - my kids barely made it until 9pm though, I thought maybe they were finally old enough to stay awake, but nope! I did enjoy it - I thought we got PLENTY of candy, the candy lines were not long. We did see any characters (kids don't like to) but the lines did not look horrible to me.

We liked the little parade, all the kids who went out and danced looked like they were having fun!

I think we would do better when the kids are older, and also I will know to arrive super early and get in the front to we could bolt for TSM. :)

Overall I enjoyed it!

This was also our first time attending the party. It was me, my dd (12) and her friend (13). We got plenty of candy but the girls were more interested in riding the rides. They rode California Screamin' 6 times in a row. It took about 30 minutes. We did not wait in line for any of the characters as they were more interested in rides. Overall we had a good time. I would consider going again but not for the full price.

Just thought I'd share a couple pictures from Halloween Night

Me and my DLGF with our twins :rotfl2:

We went Halloween night as well. I loved it, it was neat seeing the park all super done up for halloween. We also got a ton of candy, we had six adults and we filled two mickey pumpkin head buckets and two big bags they gave out at the Grand Californian trick or treating. The big highlight was a couple of the characters, we had been looking for Handy Manny all week for my youngest and FINALLY on the last night we got that super excited toddler character moment and the little Einstein girls were out as well :goodvibes. My oldest dressed up as Woody and we got a great picture of them together. We didn't wait for Mickey an Minnie either, they said it would be an hour and we passed.
