On this trip my adult daughter and I want to check out the new Toontown area (it was closed on our May 2022 trip). We will be there the week before Thanksgiving so the Xmas decorations will be up. We don't really want to hit it first thing in the morning as we have other priority rides. My question is how busy is the area once the sun goes down as I would like to see it all lit up in its Xmas glory. We will have G+ so we can reserve a ride time for Roger Rabbit & MMRT for later in the evening but about what time do the crowds clear out of this area. Any thoughts or experiences would be welcomed.

I don't remember Toontown being all that special at night during the holidays. It just reopened in March, so could be different this year.

I would say your best bet would be to visit around midday or late at night. It tends to clear out around lunch-time/nap-time for little ones, but in all honesty, it's been pretty busy all day long since it's reopened.

Remember though, on nights with fireworks, Toontown closes from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. You can "rope-drop" Toontown after fireworks as well.

Thanks for the tips.

Stopped by Toontown today and the decorations looked really nice. I'll have to make a point to check them out in the evening.

Oh thanks so much for this, we have 7 days in the parks (coming all the way from Australia) as we like to take things nice and slow and take in all the entertainment as well as rides. From what you are showing me I think we will visit twice once during the day and again at night, that way we will get the best of both worlds.

Remember that our daylight savings time starts on Nov 5, so it will be getting dark earlier.

Yes my daughter and I are not night owls. We like to hit rope drop and tour til about 2:00 then have a rest back at the hotel and come back to the parks about 5:00. When we were there in April/May it didn't get dark till late which made it hard to enjoy all the lights but this time it will be dark earlier so we will have more time before we crash to wander round and admire the Xmas festivities.
