Mickey's Thanksgiving Backyard BBQ not taking dining credits

I have called several times and I am unable to get a definite answer. When I book Mickeys Thanksgiving Backyard BBQ it says it does not take certain dinging plans and it make me pay for it rather then using my plan credits. First I was told it is a glitch then I was told as of now Disney is not sure if they are going to take the dining plan bc its a special holiday event. doe anyone have any idea???
