Hi! Not-so-crafty here looking for some help! My DS3 LOVES Fantasia 2000, so we've decided to go with that theme for his 4th birthday party! The cake is sort of a no-brainer, but I'm not sure what to do about invitations, paper goods and center pieces.

Invitations I'm especially grappling with. I was thinking I could create a template of just the sorcerer's hat with Mickey ears and then create something using felt or card stock? Or I was even thinking of making sorcerer party hats that I could send along in a small box with an invitation (kind of pricey!) or even having custom sorcerer's hat cookies made and send those with an invitation. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm kind of hoping with July 4th coming up I may be able to find some blue paper plates with stars on them. Maybe I could sprinkle the tables with gold stars and moons - or even glow in the dark ones? I guess I could put sorcerer's hats on the tables, but I've looked on ebay and that may be a little pricey.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I really love all your ideas... sorcerer hat paper invitations, clearance Independence Day paperwear products, stars/moon confetti, sorcerer hat centerpieces/party hats... awesome!

You could also make favors out of the paper hat cones: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2009/10/27/candy-corn-cone-favors/ (or hang them from a string if you didn't want to tie them off.)
