Mickey's So Long Summer Cruise 2.0

Laugh ain't the word!

I have to show Eric that picture when he gets home.

We're packing, packing, packing! Now wait, I'm packing. Eric just brings me all his stuff and I take care of it. Can't wait to get back to Wilderness Lodge. We loved it there!!!

Also did you always say he was somewhere on deck 4? i cant remember if that was the deck you would mention but if so even better since he is on deck 4! Yes men always seem to get out of packing... a few years ago on a trip to Portland Mike gave me all his things to pack... well we got there and he did not have a single shirt! So now we have a ton of Portland Zoo t-shirts- basically every animal.

So super congrats on the weight lose- so i guess your diet included wine?

i know these pics are almost a year old, but i had to get one of Cigy7 pushing the stroller up here.

I had to add my caption to the photo:

"Does this stroller make my AFT look big?"

Tara,

You are cracking me up! Did the zoo have bunny and duckie shirts in Mike's size? LOL

Thanks for the kudos on the pounds. Down 43! Yes, my diet does include wine and all forms of alcohol. I don't call it a diet. I changed my lifestyle and eating habits. I walk or workout one hour a day. I watch my calories and cut back on somethings.

Well thats a big deal, losing weight and still having alcohol. I am very happy for you..... I wish I could get more exercise and lose some pounds--- i only get to walk when Chase needs a stroller ride....lol.

So when do you actually leave for your vacation? We are doing wilderness lodge club level before the october cruise- so dont get too rowdy up there next month and mess it up for us.

Great pics:thumbsup2

Michele,

I hope you don't remember the photos my mom showed of me during the character breakfast:rotfl:

Hot off the presses... Gentlemen start your engines!

A major milestone was achieved for the Disney Dream this week when testing began on the ship’s five engines at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Several months ago, the engines were installed on the ship, and this week the team at the yard started the engines for the first time!

Tara,

The pictures of the children are beautiful! Except that big kid next to Pluto! :rotfl:

We leave for Disney on Saturday, August 7th. Dear Lord, I can not tell you how much my family NEEDS this vacation!! Big E has been working his tail off, Mikayla loves WDW and I'm burned out from running back and forth to New York. We "live" under the same roof, but never see each other for more than a few hours a day... sometimes, I don't see Mikayla for days.

I hope you enjoy Wilderness Lodge as much as we do. It's a small resort by Disney standards, but very charming. Being so close to MK and being on the boat system is very convenient.

The rooms are nothing to write home about, however, the CM's in the Old Faithful Club will go out of their way to make your vacation special. Ask for a room with a MK view. You can stand on your balcony at night and watch the fireworks!

Mikayla LOVES the pool with the waterslide, the surry bikes, the guyser, the electric water parade and movies on the beach. We're also renting a boat again this year to cruise on Seven Seas Lagoon and we're going to Ft. Wilderness to Chip and Dale's Campfire.

Being the planner I am, every day is scoped out, every meal, every outfit and every pair of shoes! :rotfl:

We will be at universal the 12th-16th and then will be going to the Bonnett Creek for the 16th-18th. It is right near Epcot. We won't do the parks, but will definitely go to Downtown Disney...I can't believe we are leaving soon! I need to get motivated!
..hopefully there will be no tropical storms in our future, Michele!

Michelle- That big kid by goofy is by far the most difficult child i have. And that must be so hard being seperate from your family so much, even though I know it would be hard i do dream about being in that situation somedays. Hope you have an amazing vacation, you already have me tired with all those plans and my feet aching with the thought of all those shoes.

and heres to great weather for everyone's vacation:dance3:

have a great monday everyone!

Hello All!

We will be leaving for Orlando on the 14th so I have decided that I need to firm up the gut for Typhoon Lagoon:rotfl:

It's either that or hang out in 5 feet of water so that nobody can see my out of shape belly.

Any who, Michele have a great trip and enjoy the other Dream ship:thumbsup2

I hope that you have great cruising weather.

Joe

UGH!!!

Everything is such a mess! I can not get my act together for this trip. Just seems like too many loose ends and I can't check anything off the list.

What really gets me, I'm in NYC right up to the night before. I can just picture myself running home and finishing at 3 am!

I want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe,

You could always steal a swim ring from a little kid to cover your gut or one of the floats from Castaway Creek!
