well, guys, i hate to be different ,but we were not "blown away" by this. glad i saw it, but would not wait in a long line to see it again. remember this is my opinion only. please do not flame me over it. i know there are many who enjoy it and would stand in a long line, but my family and i are not ones who would.

Wow...I was thinking we were the only ones who didn't flip over Philharmagic. My dd, 10, really wanted to see it, as did I. When we came out, she said.."So what was the big deal?" It was nice but not as fantastic as I thought it would be. But, I think we are in the minority here!!:duck:

On the flip side, we just loved it and saw it 3x's during our stay. But then again, each time was a walk on. I wait in line for nothing.

I have to agree. We thought it was very good, but, too be honest, we thought "It's Tough to be a Bug" was better. We enjoyed it, but I'm glad we didn't have to stand in line to see it.

I just have to ask - - How do you manage not wait in line for anything?;)

I also thought this show was great. It has become my new favorite 3-D show at Disney. We never had to waith either. We walked right into the next show both times we saw it. I loved the smell of the pies in the Beauty and the Beast scene!!!:)

One of the things we liked about Philharmagic, was the more kid-friendly theme. My youngest (8) will only do ITTBAB if he can sit on a lap (doesn't like the bugs at the end!). I also have to say that I did not hear a single crying child during this show (unlike ITTBAB and definitely HISTA and even believe it or not at Muppets!), so I am glad it is there for the younger set.

As for me, I loved it and was disappointed when it was shut down at the end of the day on our last day at MK because all 4 of us wanted to see it again!

but it was not the experience they are making it out to be. M. Eisner said that it would be a reason for people to come to WDW! Don't see it as the attraction that Mission: Space is but it is a nice addition.

true, it was great for little ones. but i can't not see where it will be the reason why folks come to wdw. we too walked on as it was EE and raining--hard!

Considering we don't like 3-D .....
We thought it was awesome......
But still would not wait more than 10 minutes for it.

I also agree it isn't something that will draw people to WDW, but it is a great addition to MK.

Half of our group LOVED it and the other half thought it was pretty good, seemed short and thought kids would be scared but they weren;t. The popping of those bottles scared me....

We did go back on it a second time and we also had no wait. We went first thing during a MVMCP and once when the parked opened.

We just got back a week ago and I have to admit I loved it! Although, I think it could've been a little longer and had a little more! I think they should have used the wider screen the entire time! But, overall, I would wait in somewhat of a line to see it again! Although, on my trip, we didn't wait for anything either at any of the parks!

I believe that EE stands for Early Entry which is now called Extra Magic Hour. Thus Philharmagic is an attraction that is open early on the MK's EMH days?

"Blown Away"?.....No. Very happy to see this in Fantasyland?....Yes. This is a perfect show for MK. Its doesn't rely on 3D Scares, and it is kid friendly. I give it 2 great big thumbs up.

I also was not "blown away", but I thought it was excellent and very kid-friendly, which is appropriate, being in Fantasyland. My favorite 3D is ITTBAB (with the Muppets a very close second), but I know that it does scare a lot of kids.

Just making sure, are there any villains in Philharmagic? DD wants to steer clear of them on our trip! Also, can you get a fastpass for this show and does anyone know the seating capacity (approx.) of the theater? Just wondering if the strategy would work with this show (as it does with some others) of waiting to get in line until the show is just about to start and then walking right in. This would only work if this theater seats a large amount of people....

I agree with Golter (last post). We saw it on an MVMCP just as the fireworks were ending so we practically walked in. I think if I was to wait 45 minutes for a short show, I probably wouldn't rush back but I could see it being a nice break on a very hot day. There is a part where Ariel swims out to you, arms open wide that stands out to me, I actually "Oooh and Ahhhed" at that. When I think back to this visit, it is one of the main things I am remebering and telling people about.
