Can you see the movie if you don't use the glasses? I do not want to use the same glasses that hundreds of people have used...too may germs.

I haven't seen it yet, but I believe the glasses are necessary to see the 3-D effects. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable wearing the glasses if you took along some antibacterial wipes and cleaned them before use.

Yes, you can see the movie BUT it will be blurred and quite honestly, you will completely miss out on what makes this attraction so special. I think the suggestion that the first reply made regarding using antibacterial wipes is a good idea.

I second that! It won't be the same, it will be all blurry. My daughter had a liver tx and I carry around lysol wipes because she is immunosuppressed and I am freaky about germs too but the wipe really make me feel more comfortable. The glasses are a hrad plastic so they are easy to wipe. Don't miss it because it was AWSOME!!

If I am correct, they are cleaned each time. That is why there are trays as the beginning, and then you put them in the bucket at the end. Not one hundred percent sure, but I beleive that is correct. You can ask them when you are down there.

I just wanted to put my two cents in on the subject. The wipes seem like a great idea, especially since the glasses hardly touch your face. And dont forget antibacterial gel! But just make sure to get fastpass and not miss the show. I was there last Monday and it was the best part of my day, next to Wishes, which was absolutely spectacular. Enjoy your trip!

I used the glasses for this and every other attraction many times (at least 20 all in all) on my last trip and never got any kind of problem from them (and I have VERY sensitive skin and a lot of allergies).

I've also never heard of anything being spread via these glasses. I assume you are concerned about conjuntivitis and other eye irritations (I'm quite prone to these myself but have never had nor gotten anything in WDW).

I'm not trying to bother you, but I just don't want you to miss out on these great 3d films. The glasses are perfectly safe.

You can see the film, but it will be blurry and hard to watch without the glasses and not worth going into, unless you plan to close your eyes and just listen.

Maybe bring wipes?
