We don't have cable here either so I have to have a satelite(which I hate btw). If comcast was offered here I would get cable, phone and internet for free because DH works for them. I watch a lot of tv so I have to have it lol.

We have a LOT of options up here, but we use Dish Network and have been very pleased. We had comcast for years but they just kept going up and up. We don't do the speciality stations but have lots to choose from. What I love the best though is the DVR. We can start recording a show and then actually start to watch it a little later, thus fast forwarding through all the commercials. (so you spend less time watching the same show, lol).

Well, 75 day mark is almost here. Now, I'll get to try my hand at making ressies w/ sleepy eyes. Did everyone get up just after midnight to get everything in? I'm hoping there will still be some ressies left that I can get for Palo dinner and brunch. Did anyone book an excursions? The only thing I know I"m going to book will be the bicycles at Castaway Cay and some watercraft for going out to see the Flying Dutchman a bit closer. I wish Chris wasn't to young to be on a waverunner.

We'll be having Palo for dinner the night of Nassau (as that is the day of our vow renewal). We are having brunch on the sea day (I think 10:30). I didn't book anything for Nassau but did do the bikes and floats for Castaway Cay. We are also doing the Exotic Rasul spa thing the day at sea. I haven't told hubby about any of this. We are trying to keep things to a minimum dollar wise so I am trying to put money aside for little extras and I'll put that on our on board credit before hand.

I ran my second 5k today (two minutes faster than Thursday!!!!)

My daughter ran with me (well not really with me, she said good bye, see you at the end, ). She's 20 and hasn't run 'officially' since high school (then she only ran senior year). She came in 2nd in her age group!!! I'm so proud of her. But I'm sure she will pay for it tomorrow as her back is bad.

Dish Network is what I have. I much prefer cable. The on demand is much better with Comcast and it doesn't go out every time it rains. It rains a lot in FL. If there was a storm I would be cut off completely.

I am not booking anything for this cruise. I did book a room at the comfort suites so that we can go to Atlantis. I said I wasn't going to but, I think the kids will really enjoy that. At CC we will probably just hang at the beach. We love the beach and CC makes a wonderful beach day.

I wonder when we are going to hear something about these new ships coming out. I am hoping I can book a cruise on the new ship when I am on my magic cruise in 09.

That is GREAT Patricia! I am so happy for you! I wish I could get my butt in gear but I have not exercised in awhile. (I have actualy gained 1/2 the wait I lost back ) It seems when I want to go bike riding the kids don't or visa versa. It has been raining since yesterday morning so I haven't done much. My poor lawn looks like I'm trying to recreate a jungle.
Christopher comes home today! He is flying home as we speak! I miss my baby and can't wait to embarrass him in the airport by hugging and kissing him to death.
I bought a new part for my printer today and so I finally can join the rest of you and print to my hearts content! However, I gave it a "test" run and realized there is no ink. So as soon as I get that in the mail, we will be all set. Now, I have everything ready to go for magnets but what do I print them on? Is there magnetic paper or do you just print them and paste them onto magnets? Sorry if I'm a little slow.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll tell you I honestly hadn't worked out until March of this year. I did do one of those circuit training places (LWE, like Curves) for a year and never dropped any weight, never really felt much different. But actually going to the Y and doing something, I get so energized (right now I am saying that, but my eyes are VERY tired).

As for printing, you can print on paper and then buy the magnetic strips from a craft store (they are sticky on one side); you could also print on paper, and put into a plastic page protector and put magnets on that (then just change out your sign). I have a link from someone for magnetic paper for ink jet printers at $1 a sheet. I haven't ordered any yet.

The website kept having issues....combined w/ my dial up connection...made for a very long morning. However, mission accomplished! I'm being a bad employee and used the highspeed connection here to finish up shore excursions at Castaway Cay (going to try to do the eco tour w/ Chris). I have all the forms filled out for check in and ready go. Now all there is left to do is sit and wait for Sept 7th(with the good company of all of you!)

It's great that you got Palo Dawn! I bought magnetic craft tape from Ebay (£3 inc. p&p) and it's works great! I laminated all my signs and now we've made all the DCL ones magnetic!

I'm happy to hear everyone is getting their Palo reservations taken care of. can't even think of food right now! Leah and I just made ourselves a dinner of baked potatoes, corn on the cob, carrots and the rest of the Mahi Mahi I made the other night. Then, we finished the meal with Ghiradelli's brownies served warm and topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream!

I got my printer up and running. I printed out the art Hayley was nice enough to do for us. Others, well I have to be more discreet about printing. I think I am going to try to find some glossy paper to print them out on. It seems like it would look better than plain paper. Any thoughts from people who actually know what they are doing (unlike me ) I found a really good deal on ebay for some magnetic tape but I'm going to go look at some craft stores around town before I decide on that.

I can't believe how the time is flying by. I feel lulled into a false sense of security that I still have plenty of time to prepare but I know it will be here before I know it!

I was talking to one of the doctors I work for today. She has been on two Disney cruises with her family. I was telling her what we all were doing with the fish extenders and magnets. She told me not to tell her daughters about this because then they will wonder what cruise they were really on.
