Welcome home, Patty! I hope you had worlds of at WDW. I've never read a WDW trip report. Will that part be in your trip report? Did you get any of the rain on Friday? It poured buckets minutes after we got home. How are you dogs? I bet you were really happy to see them.
Hayley, we thought we were going to spend time at the adult pool but we didn't. It turned out there were too many other things we wanted to do, and I also think the experience we had on the first day (right after boarding) tainted our enthusiasm for the "Quiet" Cove. We went up to the adult pool to relax but right after we got there a loud party of adults (it was mostly one man in particular) arrived and kind of dominated the pool (not hard since it's so small) and the surrounding space (by way of shouting everything they had to say and making it impossible not to eavesdrop, read or relax). I hope you found the pool area at its more peaceful moments.
Warren said he'd write a trip report for us. He's uploaded the pictures, and now I'm waiting for him to find his Muse. Thanks to Patty, we have pictures of us, instead of me or him but not both, that weren't too bad.
This morning, I took our onboard reservation over to AAA to transfer it to them, and my agent told me I couldn't. (WHAT??) When I expressed my doubt about that since I've done it before and lots of people here have done it as recently as last week, she changed her answer to most of the cruise lines don't allow that but she'd call
DCL and find out. The transfer, of course, is allowable, and the total onboard credit for the two rooms will be 700.00 (200 each room from DCL and 150 each room from AAA). Looks like we have the tips covered.
I really, really loved this cruise. The best part was being totally free to do whatever we wanted and eat anything we wanted to and not have to plan it, implement it, or clean up after it! Second to that but barely less important were dinner (excellent tablemates, great serving team, desert after abstaining from sweets for the past 3 months or so) ,the wonderful time we had at Serenity Bay, seeing both of Michael Harrison's acts (adult and family), being out on the ocean, going scuba diving (Warren) and snorkeling (me) in Nassau, the FE exchange, and especially having brunch with and hanging out with Dale and Patty. Those of the ones I can think of.
