The countdown has really started in earnest now. My 10 hour shift and my doctor's appointment are over. Only three working days to go.
I hope to meet up with some of you guys at the Radisson. We will head there as soon as we disembark from the Magic. I will PM somebody with my cell phone number tomorrow. I am too tired today.

Good Morning fellow passangers.....in this day in two weeks we will be sailing the high seas, enjoying our cruise ship and dare I say last day at sea (sniff, sniff) but for those of us continuing our journet to WDW this is just the beginning.

Since this will be my last morning update (because I refuse to update on the day we dock back at the port...lol) Now the real countdown can begin, we are in the home stretch ladies and gentleman! YEAH!!

So does anyone know if it's possible to get nursery reservations on the ship? I didn't think I was going to put DS in there at all but I am thinking I might try. I guess I will have to check with guest services or something like that.

Well I am off to clean and pack up for the beach this weekend...and then the REAL PACKING begins!! Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Christina, I read in my handy dandy passporter book that you can make reservations on board at Flounders from 1230 to 315 and again from 430 to 530 on the day we sail. It says you can also call from your stateroom.

Corinna, as of today, the hurricane is headed for New Orleans (like they need this!!) but our local weather station said that would make for great weather for us. So as of now looks like you should have good sailing!

OK DH and I have the plan for the big reveal of the surprise cruise figured out:

Once we get past the airport on our drive to the port we will begin a trivia game to pass the time.(they think they are driving to Bush Gardens) This will consist of 4-5 trivia questions for the kids. They will be told there is a prize at the end. The last question will be "how does it feel to be surprised with a 4 night cruise on the Disney Wonder?" At that time they will be presented with their prize--t-shirts that say "My surprise Birthday Cruise 2008" And we will tell them to put them on. Hopefully we can time this right so that we are driving right at the point where you can see the cruise ships.

I am having a hard time working when I have SO much packing and stuff to do at home. Darn it w/ work getting in the way of my private life!

Monica, the eloquence of your chosen words for your trip report astound me. Only Shaekspere said it better in "Ode to the River" Daleth speaketh it and the masses respondeth . The peoticism of the lyrics you used to write your report had an astounding emotional effect on me . "I Went to California" i could almost feel the breeze when you open the window on the airplane. I could almost smell the pastures as you passed over Texas (Dallas s@#ks, Dallas s@#ks), the orange groves as you flew over Southern Cali. I'm sorry, i'm feeling warm and fuzzy. Let me compose myself. Okay i'm back. The intrique you encountered and experienced while there is, so breathe taking. Wow i must stop. Oh about the picture.....Growl!

Two more days at work to go. All the documents are sorted. I still have not quite finished with packaging the FE gifts, but this will happen tomorrow evening or Friday morning.
I had changed my shift for Friday so that I had the morning off and could do my packing. Today I was told I had to come in mid morning for a meeting. I am having big problems with one of my subordinates. I seemed to have spent all day today apologizing to various people with whom she had a run in. Still, I rather have this over and done with so that I can enjoy my dream vacation without having to worry about work.
I suppose I have to pack Saturday morning. It should hopefully not take too long. I will order the taxi for 1:30 to take us to the hotel where I will be truly pampered.

Thank you. Most people would probably be scared by that many kids!

I actually have really well behaved kids though. No running down the halls or pushing all the elevator buttons. I keep 'em in line.

Ryan can talk your head off(don't know where he gets that from ) but, Sammie is pretty shy.

I am a little sad that we all won't be going but, this is a special trip for Sammie and Ryan.

We will all get our Magic cruise in 2009 or 2010(depending on where the Magic will be...)
