Okay, and one dumb question....I did sign up for the yahoo groups too, (though I haven't read thru those yet, and Thank you Patricia for the warm welcome!! Much appreciated), but what's the difference with posting here and there?

Welcome to the group!!!! nice to have you joining us! The yahoo group is private, unlike this disboard, only those who have signed up and been approved can see the messages. That way we can post real names if you want (I always do, i trust way to many people) and any personal info that you might not want to put out on a public forum. Unfortunately though it's been really quiet and I've not been too good at posting there either (but I think the regulars here have all joined so it really doesn't matter).

Karen,

First you need to have your photos online somewhere (you can't insert one from your computer). If you don't already have a free account, set one up with either photobucket.com or webshots.com. Then upload your photos onto that account. After you've done that and want to insert a photo, go to the pic you want to insert and there will be a code listed (usually below the photo). Use the one that says for message boards. It will have this [ before and this one ] after the code.

You are E-vil I guess this would be payback for all the torture I'm doing to my son? I asked him if he was excited to go to Sea World for his 10th birthday because it was a REAL special birthday! He said "It would be more special if we were going on a Disney Cruise".

Yes they think they are going to bush gardens. Which is the other direction form the port but, they don't know that.

You know, I have been wondering if he has been suspecting. My mother and I have REALLY been playing up Seaworld lately though and last night I had a heart to heart w/ him and explained why I could not afford a Disney cruise and that I hoped Sea World would be OK for his special day. I've really been talking a lot about the things we can do at Sea World and he seems resolved to this idea as of today. If Chris was on to me, he would never admit it. In the past, he has ruined a couple of his surprises (mainly peeking at Christmas presents) and I have always taken those surprises away from him and exchanged them for new surprises. So I'm sure he would think if he didn't play along that I would just cancel the whole thing (which I wouldn't....not something like this). I would, however, be very disappointed because I have worked so hard to surprise him with this. I will tell you this.....he may have (or still is) suspecting but I will also tell you he isnt really sure. My mom and her boyfriend talking about going to Sea World with us has really thrown him off (he didn't know they were going until last week).

Quite honestly, I forsee Christopher just smirking and probably saying he knew it. I'll be interested to see his reaction. I'm sure after the shock of it all he will be excited and even if he did figure out the cruise he doesn't know anything about the room being decorated, the gift basket, or the shore excursions planned.

Dawn, no matter what, he's going on a Disney cruise and it's going to be awesome. Hoping he hasn't figured it out since this is what he wants so badly for his bday!!! Boy, I wish someone would surprise me sometime like that!!! WOW would I be amazed!

Thank you for the encouragement. Christopher decided today he wants to go to Aquatica instead. I told my mom that may work out since I have read it is recommended the kids wear their bathing suits under their clothes so they can take advantage of the swimming pool after boarding.
