mickeys not so scary halloween??

was anyone else at one of these nights? what did you think of it. i thought it was amazing. it was our last night and really was a perfect ending to our holiday. i couldnt believe the amount of characters and the castle was so beautiful all lit up.

i think it depends on yourself personally. i loved it i was like a big kid. but i did have my dd with me and it was so funny watching her chasing around after the characters with her book and her pen and she is only 22 months. she was like mommy quick mickey and minnie lol

there was all of fantasyland open, characters everywhere, i saw cruella devil, gaston, mickey and minnie, cinderella, snow white, dopey, pinnochio, gepetto, gidion, winnie the pooh, eyeore, tigger, piglet it was great. also pirates of the carribean was also open. there was a winnie the pooh show, a magician merlin show i really enjoyed it

We were there on Friday night too and it was just amazing, we had such a fun time.

The entrance through the castle with the pumpkin mickey head in the dry ice smoke was amazing, I loved it !!! The castle changing colour was superb and I loved all the images they kept projecting onto the castle and surrounding buildings, it was just amazing. Will try and post some pics once I've sorted them out.

DD had her witches dress on but it was quite cold so she had her coat on top but we saw lots of people without children dressed up and loving it.

The characters were great fun, I think Cruella and Maleficent was just amazing and really in character and my daughter had such fun dancing with Piglet.

I would definitely recommend anyone to go, we didn't get to see the shows as we were too busy chasing characters and flying dumbo, teacups, IASW, etc but it really was the best night we've ever had at Disney

hmmm, I am really tempted to buy tickets as an extra surprise for my wife, she still doesnt know where she is going and we arrive on Monday morning!

i rang the reservation line and added them to my booking. i would definately recommmend it, the whole night was brilliant. my camera went dead just before we went into the castle i nearly cried lol

I have booked this as a little suprise extra for my family on our trip next week!

I didnt realise all the rides in Fantasyland were open! Great news!

you won't regret it, the atmosphere is so much fun and the characters are just great !!!

I popped back to the hotel at teatime just to charge my camera for the event and I'm so pleased I did, we got some amazing shots. At the end of the evening they have a mini parade and all the characters got off the train up near the Band Stand in Main Street USA just in case you want to get any pics with them and you miss them from earlier in the evening.

yeah i am still kicking myself for not charging my camera. although i did make my sis and her friend pretend to take pics when meeting the characters *** otherwise they just signed the book and moved on and my dd wanted a hug lol

oh no, what a shame .... I would have been gutted.

I nearly bought a disposable as I was getting paranoid that my battery was going to run out but fortunately it last the evening. I'll post some pics just to remind you of how fab the night was once I get around to doing my post trip report xx

awww thanks so much. it didnt say it was going dead but i went mental taking pics of the castle lit up and i had to keep adjusting my settings so i think that wasted the battery grrrr. did you see cruella she was brilliant but really scary. she was asking a bunch of kids did they have any dogs and she pushed my mom out of her way

I thought her and Maleficent were just superb, totally in character and just so funny to watch. I wasn't that struck on the band though which the Queen of Hearts spent a lot of time with, I found them a bit freaky !!

I was worried about my camera for the same reasons, I kept having to change the settings and when waiting for our pics with Captain jack my hubby put the self timer on ... he was in big trouble !!! I got a great pic of the castle which was an orange/red shade with lots of pumpkins in the front.
