Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?

I was hoping someone could tell me if they have set dates for these yet. I am not going until 2005 and want to go for this. I am thinking that if I know this years dates it will help me with next year.

I was also looking for some more info on this and the Huanted Mansion thing that happens in Oct.

'Tentative' and 'unofficial' dates for 2004 are: Oct. 1, 3, 8, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31

They should go on sale the end of April.

Here are the last few year's dates to help you out too:

MNSSHP 2001 = Oct 18, 21, 26, 28, 31

MNSSHP 2002 = Oct 11, 17, 20, 25, 27, 31 and Nov 1

MNSSHP 2003 = Oct. 3, 5, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 26, 30, 31

Are these "tentative" dates from an official Disney source?

Although it's helpful to know the dates they may be *considering* possibilities for MNSSHP, I'd just be cautious when making trip plans. I wouldn't count on the the party being offered on these dates.

I know that I will wait until Disney officially publishes the dates before making any plans.

Since you are asking me specifically as I'm the one who provided the 'tentative' dates in this thread, I'll answer your question.

I got those 'tentative' and 'unoffical' dates from another DISer in another MNSSHP DIS thread who is a CM probably a couple of weeks ago. She has access to the Disney employee website and saw them there. She was trying to (reluctantly, I might add) help out fellow DISers who were planning October trips just as I was trying to do in this thread. I don't want to put out false or inaccurate info and hopefully they will be correct and hopefully no one planned their trip around 'tentative' dates but used them as guidelines...for trend purposes.

The tickets went on sale April 30 last year and people were reporting the 'official' dates of the parties on the DIS as of April 27 of last year so they probably already have a good idea of the dates now but aren't ready to release them yet for whatever reason.

Sorry if I shouldn't have put those 'tentative' and 'unoffical' dates on the board. I was only trying to help fellow DISers out.

I think we'll know something 'official' probably by the end of April!

I just wasnted to say thank you. All your info has helped me a lot. I think I have gotten my planes set for next year. I think I will be able to be there for MNSSHP. If not it isn't a big deal but I think I would like to have fun with that.

I was wondering if the Happy Haunts is only on one day. I went to the web site that was posted on this board. It looks like a lot of fun and I am tempted to change the dates of travel to try to go to it. How do you sign up for it. Is it a day of thing or do you sign up in advance.

Can some one tell me how much it cost also. I would like to add that into our budget so I know it is taken care of.

From what I've seen on these sites in 2003 Disney had 3 different packages for the event to choose from and it was held Oct27 to Oct 29.The actual ball at MK on Oct29th.

Disney will have it posted on their site when the date is announced.

That is all that I know for now as nothing has been announced about the 999 Happy Haunts Ball for 2004.

The most expensive package for HBB was $2,100, the middle package was $450 and the one day package was somewhere around $100.

Friends and I bought the middle package. For the $450 we got one night's lodging at CSR (since there were 3 of us and we bunked together we actually got 3 nights); dinner one evening; breakfast the actual day of the event and entry into the event plus various gifts.

HBB is considered a merchandise event much like Disneyana.
