Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Hello. This is the first time I have posted here. We are leaving in 10 days! Our 3rd trip as a family to WDW. Our daughter's birthday is Halloween and we thought it would be fun to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party since it is offered on the last night of our stay.

I am looking for reviews of the event and wondering if dressing up in costume is a requirement?

I've never experienced Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) before but lots of DISers have and I'm sure they will share their expertise with you.
