Mickeys not so scary halloween party

How quick do they sell out, I am in a different time zone and will only have 1 chance to go being Sept 9

We've gone during a weekday party in Sept. for the past 4 yrs and they have never been sold out the days we picked including buying our tickets the day of. You should have no problem getting tickets.

We are going 10/10-10/13/14. Hoping to buy ticket for 10/10. Can't hardly stand waiting to buy ticket. :surfweb:

Do your best to wait until at least 2-3 days before you want to go. Doing so can save you a lot of money and frustration in the event it rains.

After buying too early one year we ended up getting soaked and not being able to ride many outdoor attractions bc of lightening. The parades were also canceled. We learned our lesson and will never buy more than two days in advance again. Also, always go the first full week in Oct and have never had an issue with tix selling out more than 1 day before the event.

I know you're excited but wait and make sure the weather works out - it's worth it!

. I agree! We went last year October 27 (Sunday night) and didn't buy our tickets until maybe 4 or 5 days before the event. And that was really close to Halloween!

I see where everyone is saying wait 2-3 days before the event to buy our tickets, but we're hoping to go Sept 1 since MK closes at 7 I'm hoping that is a MNSSHP night. If that is the first night if the party AND Labor Day, should I wait or buy when released?

The dates are out for this year. The 10th septwmber until the 2nd November. Selected dates only and tickets havent been released yet

I saw that too but it actually says 10 th sept 2013 ?? Which was the first one last year so I am confused

That will prove difficult. Haha. We are probably planning Halloween 2015, but I don't know if I can wait that long!

I will probably buy tickets early, and if it rains, those things that are open will be less crowded. How's that for justification? LOL

Have you ever been to Halloween party?

I agree. The sooner the better. If they dont release the dates soon maybe Ill give that money to Discovery Cove. Its been in the back of my mind of trying to sneak a DC day into our schedule

We did Discovery Cove last August on our trip and it was Awesome! If you have the $$, I would say do it. We were there from opening until around 4PM when the skies opened and it rained hard. The kids had a blast and only left the water to eat (which is all included by the way).

If I had to choose between the two, I would say DC if you have never done it before. We will be doing the party this year as it is just DD and I.

For Sept 9th, you should be fine. The September parties usually do not sell out as quickly as the ones on later weekends and closer to Halloween.

If you go on Disney's website, and bring up the calendar for September 1, 2014, it says the Halloween party is that night and closing at 7pm. Wahoo! We will be at the first Halloween party too. Had to extend our vacation 2 days to attend, but it would be the only time we could do it, as I won't pull my kids out of school, and hate to do a long week-end trip, as it would be much more costly than 2 more nights hotel fee. I will be buying mine from SOG (since we are military) a week before the party. I hope the weather is great, as I am really looking forward to the Parade and fireworks.

Thank you!!! Sept 1 IS on the website - YaY! DGrD10 and I were so excited to think there might be a MNSSHP on our last night and now it's official. Just in time since I have an e-bay auction ending tomorrow for the costume she wanted. LOL

This is our first year going to the party so how crowded do you think the 9/14 party will be?

I switched my reservations from October 12th to October 13th because it looks the Halloween Party will be on Monday night. I wish I would have known at the 180 day mark, because I'll be eating dinner @ 4:15 at Liberty Tree Tavern and no longer have breakfast at Chef Mickey's the next day. We're going to 'Ohana instead.

This will be our third time attending! I love the parade. I can't wait. I heard tickets go on sale tomorrow. I know that they won't sell out too quickly, but I can't wait to purchase them.

I'll keep my fingers cross for you. I believe Disney knows how popular the party is but I think August would be to early for it. That's just me! We're going in Oct on the Friday we arrive.

We are planning to attend the Friday we arrive, Oct 10th. Please post if you see tickets on sale. I am going to buy mine when they come out since I will not get to go back in October for a long time. To me, it's worth my piece of mind to get our 2 tickets ahead of time. I would be crushed if we didn't get to go because I waited.
