I heard each night sells out at 22,000. Seems like a lot though.

We attend every year...the sold out nights seem to occur later in October. Usually Halloween itself or weekend nights are the ones to sell out. We go in early October and even when it has been on the more crowded side, it is still so much better than what you would experience at a normal day in MK.![]()
It's so good to hear you say that! We bought MNSSHP tics for Halloween night and ever since, I have heard how incredibly crowded it is. I even heard a few say they will NEVER do it again due to the crowds. I was really starting to worry - glad to hear it's less crowded than normal. Thanks!
We are going in Oct and have the typical park hopper passes. do i have to purchase the Mickey Holloween party separatly? If so from where? Thanks
That is a well guarded secret that Disney doesn't like to give out.![]()
There have been numbers floating around over the years and it seems they also increase over the years (I do actually believe they are selling more tickets than they used to) too.
First I heard 18,000, then I heard 20,000 and finally last year it was rumored to be 30,000. Only Disney knows for sure though.
Excuse my ignorance but besides fireworks what all goes on during this party. Are certain park attractions still open or dining available? I ask because the time says 7-12am and im trying to figure when and where we should make reservations for dinner that night. On or near the park? Before or during this party?

You can enter the park for the party as early as 4pm-officially they tell you 7pm is the start time, but you can enter the park using your party ticket at 4pm.
As far as activities, it is far more than fireworks. The perk of the party is low/no lines (pretty nice perk if you ask me to literally walk on just about every ride in the park), the theme and dressing up...it's fun. Activities are trick or treating (for adults and kids), dance contests, hula hoop contests, the Boo To You parade, face painting, the special fireworks show and seeing the characters in costume-definitely not any of the things you can experience with a normal every day visit to the MK.

I've never seen that many people there in Sept/Oct before so this happens often where you can just walk right one and even stay on and ride again sometimes. Thats the beauty of going in the Fall.

how do we find out who is going which night? DH & me - Oct 4th - he'll be an "off-kilter boy'; myself - a princess
(duh)
I talked him into wearing a costume!![]()
See ya there?![]()
