Mickeys not so scary halloween party

We will be attending next year. How do you plan costumes? We live in a cold state, so most of the costumes are sold really warm. Any suggestions? I

We live in northern IN and Halloween is usually pretty cold here. I was able to get a light weight Peter Pan costume for DS at the local Disney Store and DD got a Kim Possible cheerleader costume for the Disney website. You could also try eBay or Lillian Vernon's website. Good luck!
