Do you have to be staying onsite to buy the tickets to this event?

Thanks in advance!

No. MNSSHP as well as MVMCP events are open to all guests - doesn't matter where they are staying.

Best wishes -

Great, thanks so much for such quick replies!

I'm planning on a trip for Oct. 1 -Oct. 11th. Do you think they will have a party during this time. Wondering if the party doesn't start until later in the month. I want to make sure I will be there for a party.

Thanks in advance....

There are dates scattered throughout the month of October. First one in 2004 was Oct. 1, in fact. Tickets went on sale on May 1, so I would imagine the dates were announced a bit before then. So start keeping an eye on Disney's site or AllEars, or right here at the DIS!
The parties are much fun, and I'd imagine going that early in October they wouldn't be too, too full.
Enjoy,

Wow, I didn't realize they were out yet.
I'd looked at AllEars, and didn't see anything. Is it just my imagination, or are there more dates than last year? And for the Christmas party.
Thanks,
Q

I called Disney yesterday afternoon and the woman I talked with said they had not released the dates yet. She advised me to call back in a month.

No we stayed at a home a couple of miles away and we got tickets

In 2004 for MNSSHP there were 13 nights.
For MVMCP there were 12.

If this is the case:
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
The dates for 2005 are: September 30, October 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

That's 15 nights. Maybe trying:
1) for more revenue
2) more guest satisfaction
3) compete more against Univ Studios Halloween Horror Nights

??

We have never gone to WDW during a special "event" such as MNSSHP. However, this year we are thinking of doing a quick trip arriving 10/19 and leaving mid-day on 10/23. I see 10/21 is one of the MNSSHP days.

Although I know the crowds will be bigger than our usual non-peak times, are we talking Easter Week or Pres. Day crowds or something less significant?

Thanks so much for your help.

MNSSHP is great.
We were even there Halloween night 2004. The crowds are there, but a lot less than a typical crowded MK Saturday.
We generally don't do the rides on MNSSHP, as we can do those regular times.
MNSSHP is great fun! :cool1:

Thanks for the quick response! It does sound like fun.

Yes, apparently the Disney folks are not quite sure about the dates - perhaps they should check the DIS boards! :)

My AAA agent called last week to ask about getting our tickets and she was told that the dates aren't out yet. Of course the dates are out, you just have to know where to look!

Anyway, thanks to the poster who said the tickets were available May 1 last year - that helps us know when to call back!

Just looked at the dates that are posted here. I hope this is not right?!

Every Sunday in Oct has a party except the 9th? What's up with that?

That is the day I planned on going :earseek:
