Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 31

Thank you Thank you for this thread :) I was sooo worried about going Halloween night. I have 3 little guys ( 3 and celebrating our twins 1st Birthday!!! YEAH) and I was second guessing myself. Would it be too crazy and crowded. Will people scare the little guys, will it be too insane to do anything, etc etc... But this thread of really nice people and how excited everyone is reassured me. I feel much better about taking them. Thanks you and looking forward to sharing a ton of Halloween magic with all of you:wave:

We will be there again for Halloween night. Trying to convince DH he needs to dress up.

I got my Malificent costume today. It has a train! I think Id better hem it up, Im afraid people will be stepping on me.

Mmause- Orginal Maleficent! Oh boy,,are we gonna have fun.
I bow before the original Queen. EEEk no Universal for me! Dread the curse.

See I feel better already exchanging my Princess Aurora costume (I do love her,,but I love Maleficent even more).

 :jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Well sister - as you well know, the human consumption and fascination with desserts and sweet treats have no caloric effect on we superior beings. Calories are for mere mortals, of which we are not! Therefore, cast away and enjoy. I shall try and make an appearance at LTT , so that all of my royal subjects lives may be enhanced by my royal presence, our royal presence.:smooth:

OH BOY:jester:

I can't wait to meet you. Mmause, eahh I mean Malificent, her royal highness.

I have to get a green ribbon so you can distinguish me from the others..I wonder how many sister Maleficents there will be.

Oh, my son is Experiment stitch, so that can be the give away.
If we are not wearing our headpieces, Im a blonde and he is a copper color redhead

Im so excited..I cant wait!!!!!

Add my mom to the list of Maleficents that will be at the party.

My best friend and I have had a costume change we will be Woody and Jesse...my DS is still being Buzz!

Shhh, our costumes are a secret from the family until we get dressed up!!! (they think we are prince philip and aurora)

We'll me there -- me (Maleficent), my niece (Pochahontas) and my sister (Bo-Peep)! Our 3rd year - one of our favorite events!:teeth:

Somehow, I think there will be a sea of Maleficents this year.

Oh boy,, What a group pic that can make.

I have to share this: Two years ago when I was at MNSSHP, I was waiting for a ride and was just watching everyone go by dressed up, then came along a person dressed as a dalmation (from 101 dalmations), then another, and another, so on and so forth. It was a family reunion of at least 30-40 people including the babies in the carriage all dressed as dalmations. It was so wonderful. What a great idea that was! It turned alot of heads.

Then I saw Cinderella behind the castle by her gorgeous carriage, she had sat on the ground and put her gown all around her and right in the middle on her lap was an infant..OMG,,how precious was that!

We will be there on the 31st!!! And we cant wait to go!!:hyper:  :bitelip: :rotfl: Our oldest DS is going to be batman and the youngest DS is going to be robin! My DH and I cant decide any ideas???

How about dressing as the first man and woman......of Disney, that is. Go as Mr. & Mrs. Walt Disney - after all, they started it all!

Hhhmmm Walt just wore suit's right? What about Mrs.Disney? :)

My DD 18mo is going to be Minnie Mouse. I don't think DH, MIL, and I are dressing up. Will we be the only adults without costumes? I tried to convince DH to get the Mickey costume to match DD, but he just looked at me like I was crazy.:(

There's a lot of great combo costumes you could wear......

Cindy and Prince Charming would be my choice!!

If you are looking for an adorable costume for your DD, you should see the Zoie (I think that's her name, she's Rollie's sister). It is the cutest costume I've seen in a long time!

I need to work on DH's costume. He is Mr. Smee. Any ideas?

No, you won't be the only adults without costumes.

If I insisted that my DH wear a costume, for him - that would be a deal-breaker on gong on this trip.

Yes, a suit and tie works for Mr. Disney - plus small moustache and occasional fedora hat. As for Mrs. Disney -look at pictures of women from the 1940's - just try for sensible shoes. Remember Mrs. Disney had Walt change Mickey's name to Mickey NOT Mortimer.

princess: My BF and I are still up in the Air for our costumes....We had something in mind, but did not want to spend a bunch of money.:( We took my DD to teh Disney::MickeyMo Store the other day and she picked out th entire Lilo costume and just loves it.. So BF and I are thinking about just dressing Hawaiian to match her and then we will be comfy too. I guess in a sense we could be Noni and David from Lilo and Stitch.:hyper: :hyper:

We are so excited!! Halloween will be here before we know it. We are in the teens on the countdown to our cruise!!!!:sunny: I can not believe it...

One more fun thing is that we are going to Ohana's for dinner before the party. So we will really be in Character...pirate:

We decided not to go overboard with costumes but wanted to be in the spirit. So I purchased a "witch" dress and wig along with vampire fangs. DH purchased a vampire cape and fangs. He will just wear black jeans w/a white dress shirt. We'll also do the white face make up. So without too much trouble or expense we have costumes!

I'm about losing my mind with excitement! Cant' wait to go!
