Hello,
We're going to the Crystal Palace for dinner on 10/3 at 5:30. The woman on the phone said that if we're in the park before dinner to go to the Town Hall and show our passes for MNSSHP and they'll give us a wristband. So we can eat dinner in the middle of it all and not miss a second of the party.
We're very excited!
I like Crystal Palace better because I like the buffet. I love to sit down and eat, but on a night like that night, I just want to eat and have a great time. I'll sit down on another night

3 yr old wants to be Barbie??? I tried to talk her into being a pricness esp. w/ all the great costumes at the Dis store. But hey if I can get her to wear anything, I'll be happy. Look for the blonde Pocahontas-that will be me!!!

I will be dressed as Princess Aurora and my DS age 11 as Stitch. I just purchased them off the Disneystore website, got free shipping and 10% off. The gown is gorgeous!!

Ive never been a Princess before. Ive always been some kind of Villan, dracula or ghost. So this should be such fun for me, I can go right into character. (Im in show biz, so its second nature)

What is everyone else dressing as?

I have PS at Liberty Tree Tavern. I did that months ago and still got a late seating 7:45PM, which is just fine. I love being at WDW on Halloween,,Ive done it before and had the best time.

Im so excited!!! In all the over 30 something times we have been there we have never gone to MNSSHP!!

Just booked my trip for a pre-trip to WDW for Halloween - am taking my nephew and have even talked my Dad into going (Mom doesn't "do" Disney). This is my 5th MNSSHP!!!!

Those of you that will be there on the 31st - I would like to meet some of you and say hi. I will be rather EASY to recognize, allow me to explain.

My costume is Maleficent - it is "the" original headpiece from the animated film Sleeping Beauty. It was left to me by the animator in his will on 2 conditions (really 3 but the last one is a no-brainer): 1) That I entertain kids with it; 2) That I don't sell it to Disney; 3) That I have fun!

I have been fortunate enough to do all 3 for a number of years and have even been the WDW official Maleficent for a couple of MNSSHP - the best part of which was having a body guard because I got swamped by kids! It is great and extraordinarily rewarding for me. I have added a few things to it like a glow-in-the-dark animated staff and an internal microphone that changes my voice, which is really cool!

I'm staying at the Contemporary and will be taking the monorail to WDW - you should see the looks I get from people. But, per the Disney "way", I remain in character.

So if you see a tall creature in black and purple with a 3 foot mask with horns, just give a DIS hello.

(The only lime green I can wear, is my face!)

Im vascilating between being Princess Aurora and Maleficent.
I have the really pretty Princess Aurora gown, but its so hard for me to get into character with it..Ive always been some kind of villian. So I may swap costumes. I figured Id try being a princess this time but Im really struggling with this (This should be my only problem in life, HA!)

Maybe maleficent will be meeting malificent the original. LOL.

Well....Im returning my Princess Aurora gown to my local Diseny store (42 St, Times Sq, NYC).

I have decided that I just have to be Maleficent. So that costume is about to arrive any day now.

News has it the Oct 31 MNSSHP is SOLD OUT.

wow,,thats real bad news for my friends who are going to be at WDW and havent bought their tickets. Wow,, Im bummed for them cause I made priority seating at Liberty Tree for all of us, assuming they had their tickets.

They are now looking on ebay for tickets. What a drag.

Cant say I didnt warn them..
